Love Chris, but Amanda...her face, voice and personality are repugnant to me. Can't watch if she's in a video. I never knew Chris had lost his daughter. Puts his kind words that he says in every video in another light. He's been through some very hard times too.

The Provost family just embarked on their 2nd attempt at World Tour to visit EVERY Disney Park around the world (plus a few additional stops), and so far, it's going great?

Still unsure about the Mormon thing. I do know when they first started the channel they were in Utah, and then moved to California, and then a few years later moved BACK to Utah.

A lot of my Mormon high school friends did this after high school and college. They are constantly back and forth.

Here's my reason for questioning them, and I know the rules have changed in the last few years but their intake of coffee and coke beverages. They still seem to not adhere to the rules too much and I know with any religion there are folks who bend the rules. Also, her 2 piece bathing suits and Chris always commenting/showing her ass. I'm guessing they're Momo-lite. They grew up in it, and still believe parts of it but aren't fully committed..

I recall an TDW video a year ago where Adam was needling Chris for not consuming hot coffee, apparently oblivious that Mormons do not drink hot beverages.

Always assumed Chris is Mormon, given that he is from Utah, dressed like an missionary and the overall vibes he gives off. His positive attitude is why he is popular with CMs at different Disney parks.

I have heard him say he wears a tie and shirt because he goes to Disneyland after getting off work. I have also heard him say he worked in the entertainment biz, but not exactly sure what he did.

The last thing I read about the caffeine changes is that they cannot have coffee or caffeinated tea regardless of temp. it has to do with the name of it more than anything: https://faq.churchofjesuschrist.org/can-mormons-drink-coffee


Also, yeah Amanda is pretty but something about her face where it doesn't move and she has this overly enthusiastic dead stare. It is kind of weird. And their whole meeting on a cruise ship story is odd. I dunno at least they seem happy together but things don't add up and I could do without the weird "excited" noises all the time.

So a dude with a formal education and a 9-5 Job that loves Disney. Good for him. Is this the most educated of the Vloggers?

What does that have to do with anything? I have just as good of a gig and never finished college. And I’m not inserting my opinion aside from the acting. Was merely posting facts and info.


Edit: for the record I don’t hate Chris or his content or channel. I have some criticisms and some questions, don’t get me wrong. He’s not that bad.

I'm almost positive that Chris was raised Mormon. He has mentioned in videos that he "lived" in Korea for a year after high school (most likely a mission), then he attended Brigham Young University. His mom and sister are both LDS.

30 minutes crying about a delayed flight. Bro, it’s not like you’re going back to the office. You were just at amusement parks earning money doing so and you’re upset because you won’t see your wife who was taking care of your kid and is now going on a “girls trip” to Disneyland, a place you’re at twice a month or more.
I can understand being tired and frustrated but a whole 30 min worth of going on and on about it is excessive.

I don’t know. My entire world gets effed up if there’s a flight cancelation and I’m still stuck going back to the office not my home. We’re all allowed to have emotions but out your stuff in perspective dude. Also, I’m not jealous because I don’t wish to be a YouTuber and I’d get sick of going to the parks so much. I just thinks it’s tone deaf.

In his latest livestream at around 44:30, Chris mentions his loss. Gets emotional with anger. His said one of his goals for the year is to let go of his anger. Its a rare look behind his goofy happy image.

It’s not unusual for people who put on a happy all the time face to have some deep trauma or anger or what have you. It’s ironic but in the world of comedy 99% of comedians bring their humor from a dark place. People like Chris and Nate (Mr. Morrow) present this eternally jolly and upbeat character as their way to combat what’s really going on inside and I sincerely hope they find a constructive way to deal with it behind the scenes.

It's always a delight to see my childhood theme park show up on a youtube channel. I just watched the Efteling vlog with a big smile on my face because of all the memories the park holds for me.

He’s done some indie stuff and bit parts from what I’ve seen. Student film level at best. His LinkedIn shows like sales management aka corporate BS that pays decent. BYU as well.

Watching them simp for Disney Cruise Line and Amanda crying and going "I don't want to be negative....." was a laugh riot.

This is the one that drove me over the edge. It was so dramatic and ridiculous. I get that they were upset and disappointed, but it was too much when he was going on about how his mom couldn't afford to come back or wasn't healthy. Pay for your mom to be on that cruise. You make more than enough money with Patreon and your other sponsorships to cover a damn 3 or 4-night cruise for your mom.

I forgot how they were going on about how everyone on the cruise was looking to them to fix it and they had to say something. Get over yourself. I never say anything that suggested they were able to 'fix' it.

That being said, of all the Disney vloggers, Chris is one of the better and actually puts out some good information with research. One of the first times I knew of him, he went to several different Anaheim hotels and covered them very well.

I remember a vlog when Adam mentioned that Chris had his first cup of coffee ever. Maybe a year ago? So not sure what happened to make that change...

Also, Chris is quite a bit older than Amanda, but I haven't been able to find out the age difference. Does anyone know?

I don’t remember where I read it, but isn't there some scuttlebutt that Chris was married to someone else when he met Amanda? I always found it odd that when Chris' daughter passed away in 2020, her father (i.e. Chris) was deliberately left out of the list of people who survived her in her obituary. Perhaps this was a sign that Chris did something bad (such as having an affair) that led to an estrangement between he and his daughter?

I don't disagree with him not going to Shanghai, but when he said towards the end of the video that he was planning to go back there and try again, I was like "huh?". I don't understand why he thinks coming home first is going to make Shanghai feel safer.
