Preston Davey Trial #6 Defendants Found Guilty Of All Charges

I read an article just now about the police finding JVs behavior suspicious from the start which has brought to mind a question that just keeps bugging me.

why were they able to return to living together for nearly two years?

I get that the police needed to build their case but as soon as the autopsy showed what it showed surely they should no longer have been allowed to walk free (or at the very least have conditions placed on them that they couldn’t contact each other or return to the house)

It also pisses me off the JV was suspended with full pay for two years until the outcome of the trial. The system is so wet sometimes but they just say “innocent until proven guilty” to justify him getting full pay from taxpayers for two years. He won’t be needing to mop floors in prison because he’s rolling in it, after being locked up for the last year with no outgoings and getting a full salary

Thanks guys for all your comments. I'll be signing up to trial +
I think I'm so used to seeing influencers trying to flog their patreon I forgot these are actual journalists doing research etc.
Thank you!

I've been wondering what happened to little Prestons body. As it took 2 years to bring charges, they didnt have a funeral for him did they playing the grieving dads?

Erghhh imagine if the bloated pig was found not guilty he would’ve flounced straight back to working in a school full of children no doubt

I noticed there was an adoptee rights banner at the forefront of the vigil. I looked it up on google and it seems to be about children having access to their records and birth parent’s details etc. so I’m not sure of the context at the vigil? Or is it as simple as adoptee rights to not be placed with monsters who then rape and murder them.

My prediction is JV is going to fake some sort of medical collapse between now and when he has to be bundled into court for sentencing. Either that or he’ll pull a Letby, and we won’t see him again.

When you think about it, it’s quite sinister that two adoptive dads, bereaved in awful circumstances, wouldn’t be involved in the funeral of “their” child. If they were happy to walk away like it never happened (and, apparently, never speaking about Preston to each other again) then it speaks volumes IMO.

I’d be interested to know the story of whether Preston had a proper funeral service and who attended, or if he was quietly cremated with no service at all? I’m guessing there were long delays for his body to be released.

Just caught up on the thread, he was such a beautiful baby I'm not easily upset by criminal cases but it's truly awful. I hope Preston is at peace in heaven where he only knows love no pain.
Hope the other two rot

Slightly off topic but here in Ireland Teagan McGhee murdered her stepson and she was at his funeral along with his dad who was also charged . They were spinning lies at the funeral about an accident at home and playing the bereaved parents role. The police suspected from the start it wasn't an accident but still allowed them to attend the funeral just knocks me sick that should never be allowed

Ugh. I sincerely hope that no tabloid pays him money for his story.
He can put shit on Facebook all he wants about his son being murdered, and the blame obviously lies solely with JV and JMF for what happend to Preston, but if he wasn't a violent racist thug who knocked up a violent drug addict, then maybe Preston would never have needed to be a looked after child in the first place

Just sickening & actually proves how psychotic these types of people can be
I expect though it also adds weight to the case once charged and found guilty, so I can see the reasoning behind letting them attend for harsher sentencing, but it still doesn’t sit right with me.
It’s just a complete tragedy all round that anyone should be attending funerals for murdered children, why does this even happen to innocent children

I've just listened to the first half of The Trial verdict podcast and the doctor's letter written pre placement really broke me. How he described Preston as so gorgeous, engaging, happy, healthy, thriving and full of life and how he was hoping for a very bright future for him. God, it's just heartbreaking.

I'm so very grateful for everyone on this thread - I don't feel alone in the love and pain I'm feeling for this little baby I never knew.

I know exactly what you mean
The other day I posted that justice was done but actually now I feel that that is a hollow thing to say and that there is literally NOTHING, no amount of years spent in prison etc, that can give justice for Preston's life and potential being snuffed out, and in such a heinous manner too

@ScottishMammy92 how are you doing?
I know in the last thread you mentioned how you were struggling & I suggested a temporary 'time out' might help.
I hope you're OK & the unanimous guilty result is what we all hoped & prayed for.

Sentencing tomorrow, hopefully it'll be televised so we can hear the distain & disgust from the judge.
Throw away the key.
