So many poor, tortured children. What the hell has happened to our society?

Even one is too many, but it happens time and time again.

God bless and keep you, Preston and Arthur. You deserved much more and were betrayed by the people you should have been able to trust the most.

I think blaming the mothers means you’re excusing the killers and it’s offnsive to children in care.
No child should be killed by the people caring for them, whether their mother is dead, alive, a murderer or a saint.

Something that keep going round my mind is I don’t have a faith or believe in karma/afterlife but I wonder if Sarah Davey has any feeling that Preston’s murder is karma or retribution for the murder she committed?
I wonder if she reflects differently on her offence now she knows the pain murder causes the victim’s family.

Preston didn't kill anyone. You are close to victim blaming by trying to make it a “punishment” for his mother that he died.

I’m absolutely not. I’m pondering what reflections she might have.

I'm just on my way back from the vigil. I thought it started at 8pm but apparently people were arriving from 6pm. There weren't many there when I arrived, I did see the piper, very emotional, I cried the whole time and I saw lots of others tearful too. I took a teddy bear and I lit lots of candles. So sad rest in peace beautiful boy.

The poster who mentioned the hot-tub picture (sorry I can’t quote now it’s moved to a new thread & I can’t see who it was as my phone really hates Tattle ) - they did discuss the picture, it was taken a day or 2 before the 30th June hospital visit & they zoomed in on his head where it showed he didn’t have bruising - then at the hospital visit he had bruising to his head which was noted by medics & they showed the toybox video to claim that’s what did it, which was bull.

I guess cagey because a baby shouldn’t be in a hot tub & they knew it was seedy as duck looking as no doubt they were all naked

Toy box vid was taken 12 days before hosp visit i read earlier.

I had similar thoughts myself last night trying to sleep.

Preston was an vulnerable innocent subjected to heinous crimes of torture and suffered a brutal death at the hands of evil..

Sarah Daveys victim was also vulnerable innocent who was tortured and killed and supposedly she never showed any remorse.

So I did wonder if Sarah has reflected since on the pain her victims family experienced due to her actions now she knows what its like.

I dont believe it was karma though. Fate didnt kill Preston, two evil guys did. Her actions and inability to get her life together after prison led to Preston being placed for adoption in the first place. I never followed her tiktok account now will I but I didnt see anyone mention anything that indicates she is remorseful?

I doubt very much she’s capable of reflection and having much insight into the terrible things she’s done, not to mention her inability to stay out of trouble.

I’m not here to get into a debate about karma, but do I think SD thinks very much about the trail of destruction she leaves everywhere she goes? Nope.

Yeah there are quite some parallels between the offences. Both sadistic.
I agree, I don’t believe it’s fate or karma but just a series of unfortunate events unfolding.
If it was me I would blame myself (my child falls over & I blame myself) & would never know a moment’s peace.

Yes that’s my thoughts on it. A lot of offenders/chaotic people are incredibly self centred & can only see their pain, not what they inflicted on others.

I don’t know her, and am just judging her plain and simple here but, I reckon someone’s mildly aggrieved her and she’s put that without realising that strangers might be thinking of her baby .

I must admit I wondered today if she sees the parallel between her victim choking to death and essentially the same happening to Preston but as others have said, I'm not sure she would be reflective enough to see that.

Anyway. I wasn't able to light a candle for him tonight but I made sure I sat and had a moment of reflection for him. I think it's beautiful so many people who never knew him care deeply about him.
