These two deviants have masked their sadistic leanings in the whole adoption process. A couple of gay guys i know have recently been accepted to adopt a baby boy. Im now wondering at the motivation that men want to care for babies without a mother figure. Women are hard wired and have the biological imperative to want to nurture babies, the whole thing now makes be feel uncomfortable.
I have a cousin who is gay and is married to a wonderful man, they have been together over 20 years and have adopted 2 beautiful babies who are thriving and have the most amazing life. This shouldn’t be turned into men shouldn’t be able to adopt just because 2 men are disgusting predators.

How can they be shocked after everything they’ve heard and seen?? Especially if they attended everyday?

“The parents of both defendants also attended court for the verdicts. Varley’s mum cried from where she was seated and McGowan-Fazakerley’s parents, who have attended every day of the trial, looked shellshocked.”
I can imagine sitting there through this trial and then the verdicts have meant they have questioned every aspect of their lives and the monsters they gave birth to. I’d cry and be in a state of shock too realising the child I’d raised had turned into murdering and abusive bastard 🤢🤢

The day before his birthday, finally justice for Preston 💙 I’ll be lighting a candle for him tomorrow.

Hope they rot in there for a very very long time and have endless suffering.

Bless the grandmother. She asked if Preston could stay with the foster carers whilst she received treatment for breast cancer and then she would have him but social services couldn't/wouldn't wait.
I just can't understand why social services wouldn't let him stay in foster care until his grandmother had finished her cancer treatment?
Surely it's better for a child to be with their sibling rather than be adopted away from them?
If Preston's big sister can live with the Davey family, then why couldn't he have been given that chance?

Just going back to the cot photos - I'm sure I read somewhere that JV took multiple photos of him in that position over a 3 minute period. There's absolutely 0 excuse for that, you cannot worm out of that or come up with some innocent explanation. If you genuinely thought your child had fallen asleep in a 'funny' position you *might* take 1 quick photo and them move them to comfort straight away. However, multiple photos over a period of time showing a child with a blue tinged tongue & lips is just not normal.

I'm keeping everything crossed that the Jury find these two disgusting bastards guilty. Feel so nervous awaiting the verdicts. Beautiful Preston deserves justice 💔

I really don’t want a debate but naming female child killers is usually fairly easy as they are rarer and therefore they are more notorious. We are more shocked when women kill children because it doesn’t happen that often. Especially not violently.
Males are a much higher risk to children and then much more so again if they are unrelated (in a domestic setting).

Why is he lying about the roast and saying he was downstairs the whole time? And going along with an unnatural sleeping position? If he were truly innocent he would have said omg my freakish former partner sexually assaulted my baby while I was making a roast. Instead he's making up excuses to try and say nothing untoward happened at all. Guilty as sin
This is it for me. If JMF is as innocent as he says, there isn't enough anger. I'd be blaming myself regardless, saying I should have known, I've failed. I'd be raging, telling the judge to lock JV up. But he's very passively cooking a roast and being beautiful. Fuckkkk off!

It can't have been easy for the jury, we've only being reading a brief description they've had to view the full videos - watch a distressed baby being spun for a whole 28 minutes and being at high risk of drowning for fourteen minutes knowing he's in great danger, won't live and there's nothing they can do to help.

Have faith everyone, there has been no real alternative explanation for Preston's injuries, no other person blamed. He, they, are absolutely cooked.

I hate this is my first comment on the case since the verdict but.. you can really see how much the media and society hates women and their only purpose is to get adverting clicks for money 🙁

Most of the articles I’ve seen so far are about Preston’s mum and what she did. Don’t get me wrong, I think she’s absolutely vile and she’s responsible for Preston’s suffering indirectly but the articles brush over what JV and JMF did to dig up the story on her. The focus has been taken away from the poor little baby at the centre of it all, that should be loved and happy and thriving today and instead is no longer here thanks to two monsters.

I’m so pleased everyone saw them for what they are and what they did; the vile and subhuman treatment of Preston can’t be hidden any longer. There will be no middle class treatment in prison for them.
My heart just breaks for this poor boy. Thank God he had his lovely foster mum and the chance to experience the love and stability and gentleness every baby should have, even though unfairly it was for a very short time. I’m not religious but I hope that there’s somewhere peaceful where he’s resting and experiencing the love and care he should have always continued to have experienced in life

very grateful for Preston’s foster parents, the people who did raise concerns, the police, the pathologist, all the other people involved in the trial, and of course the jury for getting justice for Preston. May he rest in peace ❤

Exactly, most parents are constantly trying to be one step ahead of any situation that might hurt their child. He knew that top bit was going to fall off with Preston pulling on it but just filmed and waited for it to hit Preston. As for the ‘boo’ video- no words, he watched and waited for the clearly exhausted Preston to actually drop off before shouting at him, that poor baby was so disorientated and scared when he was woken so horribly - and the bags under his little eyes 💔💔💔💔💔.
He looks so unwell in that Boo video 😔
Exhausted, drained, ill looking and the frozen watchfulness that the expert spoke about in Court is really evident 😔
Poor Preston is kind of peering warily at JV 😔
How did the social workers not notice the decline in him?!
Apart from all the hospital visits, could they not see he was like a shell of his former self?! 😡
Rest in Peace now, Preston Davey ❤
Justice was done for you today ❤

Totally agree with this! And frustrating that in situations like this blame is aportioned to the individual worker who is probably working into their own time, seeing less of their own family to try their best for the children allocated to them and not at the system that is forcing them to work into those conditions at the expense of their own well-being and in rare cases, children they are working with.
Exactly! I wasn’t even able to take my own children to hospital appointments as I was dealing with urgent issues at work. Your time is so stretched. And all the goverment and serious case reviews say time and time again is that lessons need to be learnt and communication is poor. But nothing changes!!! We can’t access medical files, if a child changes Gp it’s not linked up, it’s like pulling teeth to get info from other areas. They need one system everyone accesses and can review to see things. It shouldn’t keep happening but it does. You used to get free uni if you trained as a social worker. I’m in 60k worth of debt that iv been paying for 10 years that’s now higher than when I left uni.

There’s no incentive to the role. Why would you?? To be slated in the news papers, on social media, instantly blamed when a child dies because you’re working in a broken out dated system where nothing changes. There’s less social workers than there ever has been and things like this will sadly continue to happen unless they change things

I've just seen the boo video! That's the same face he made to the social worker isn't it, trying to smile but so sad. I don't know how she didn't see past that.

I’m currently caring for an 18 month old family member and it’ll be long term (permanent I think in all honesty). He’s the sweetest boy with tight curls and light eyes just like Preston. I’m currently cuddling him in bed as he sleeps and my 8 year old reads in bed in his room. I’ve cried on and off all throughout this trial. How could they do that? If either of my boys scraped their knee then my heart hurts. Day in, day out that baby was in horrific pain. I’m so sorry Preston. I’ll be hugging my boys extra extra tight tonight and always 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I just had a thought come across me today about how Preston never got the chance to take a step. Like he was a baby so young he couldn't even walk. He was right around the cusp of starting to walk. Made me think back to all 3 of my babys first steps, how magical it is and all the claps and cheers and pride. He should have had someone who loved him cheering him on. I think of that foster mother who minded him through newborn night feeds, saw his first smile, started to see his little personality come about, started him on solids, she had him for Xmas so she probably put a santa present under the tree for him. Maybe she even took him to see santa, she likely did since she had older foster kids in the house. She said something in court about how he had been having a really nice life. He was removed for his safety and she gave him that and he was happy. Then those two sick degenerate freaks came and did the most fucked up evil things you could imagine, and left many lives ruined in their pursuit. God forgive me but I hope they get burned alive and slowly die screaming, I really do.

They aren’t a couple anymore.
I actually have my doubts about this. JV was adamant enough to correct whichever barrister said former partner. JMF said they weren't together but I find it odd that JV doesn't seem to know that so I think JMF was just saying that to distance himself. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if they were still together right up until the trial begun and it won't surprise me if they reunite after.
