It’s such a jarring contrast that she thinks she’s so cool and her husband is so incredibly middle England and dweeby (not in an ironic geek chic way).
Sorry to be heteronormative but Its really important for the bride and groom to be cohesive when picking outfits. As a bride, I made sure my husbands outfit matched my dress in terms of destination vibe etc eg no point him wearing a tux if im going boho with a flower crown with floral lace.

He looks like a Tory SPAD at the Spectator summer party whilst she looks as though she's dressed for a hen dinner at Bagatelle

Is it really important though? Like, to me, it's just a wedding, which is just a party, and an outfit... I realise this will be an unpopular opinion 😂

Unlike polly I'm going to assume your job is not your image so yes to you an outfit is just that but to her this wedding has been a money making opportunity. Many influencers make serious bank from their wedding so the fact that we are underwhelmed by her aesthetic ain't great. My husband works is a musician so the music was extremely important to him at our wedding, me I couldn't have cared less.

Weddings are the day you and your spouse are going to be photographed the most in your life, probably spent more money than ever before on an event and very time consuming to plan, so you want to look your best. Wedding also are two people coming to together so I don't think its too much to expect cohesive outfits from the bride and groom, this is normal across many cultures, particularly when the bride is paid for her sense of "style" 🤨🤔

I will say i that at the very least, he looks like himself whilst polly gives very much fashion victim. If you look at her first wedding (which was less than 10 years ago) her style is vastly different, very 2010s. I don't think she has any sense of personal style compared to say Lu or Nana at sheerluxe. If she gets married a third time, much like her first 2 weddings, her outfits will just be an amalgamation of what was trendy for weddings at the time.

Such a flippant attitude about weddings is how we got ourselves in a situation where polly was on holiday with her first husband in spring and then had a boyfriend by summer. It's not just a party, this is the day you and your spouse are going to be photographed the most in your life, probably spent more money than ever before on an event and very time consuming to plan, so you want to look your best. Meh. A wedding is just a formality and a party, it doesn't NEED to be as stressful, time consuming, expensive or laborious as you are insisting. Its just a party thats over after a day, nobody EVER has a dress that everyone likes so who cares as long as you like it, the photos always turn out great as long as the energy is right, and the marriage itself is the far more important thing.

I think she behaves like a twit on socials, but i thought her hair was cute, her dress suited her, and she looks happy. Hope the twit had a lovely day 🤣

That wedding band does not go with her ring whatsoever! And the dinner table setting was very bare and unimpressive, could have done with some flowers or candles

The band is utterly dreadful, undermines the lovely engagement ring. She’ll probs change it in the future

The short frilly evening dress is one of the worse things I’ve ever seen. I’m shocked she went for that, as someone else said the whole thing smacks of being try hard. The amount people spend on weddings is sickening. My friend spent close to £20k and regrets it as she was so busy making sure she was speaking to everyone she can’t really remember any of it! Mad

Yeah I mean each to their own but I just don’t really understand spending so much on a wedding. I know someone who is spending £50k on theirs.

The photo with her smoking a fag 🤣 sooo try hard
Sooo pick me, look at me, I run marathons for Bone Cancer and cycle in the Himalayas but I can be badass too and smoke like Charli XCX. Lovely for Harry having his new wife with fag breath on their wedding day.
