Anyone buying from her would presume the proceeds were going to the fundraiser. She hasn't mentioned it since, of course. 
This is why you need to be clear and precise in your wording with regards to charity and PROVE IT! I'm sure bone cancer research would much rather you treated yourself to some weird shoes, hun. Anything she says now just an excuse.
