I love true crime podcasts!!

In addition to the ones mentioned previously, I can also recommend dark topic. Its intense at times. The host draws me in, he's a fairly dark character himself but he is an amazing story teller . Reels you in.

Unfortunately he has stopped it now and tried a new podcast called crime machine, which I don't really rate.

Just checked- the dark topic episodes are now under crime machine.

You can listen to them on Spotify. I love "Off Menu" and "Case File".
Seconding casefile!
Also shagged, married, annoyed
Drunk women solving crime
So I got to thinking is

that last one is based on two people rewatching sex and the city and talking about it from a 2019 perspective. They have just done season 1 of SATC but it is really interesting.

It's an oldie but if you are into crime the serial podcast by Sarah Koenig about adnan syed/hae min lee is a must. It has its faults but Sarah's storytelling and voice had me hooked episode after episode
I also love true crime garage but people seem to either love them or hate them! My favourite murder is good too

I agree! Never thought I'd fancy it, but If you look at my list it's just true crime but then just one comedy! I do love Julia Davies and Vicky Pepperdine as actresses though, did you ever watch Nighty Night @Horatio ?

No I’ve heard of it but I think I was slightly to young when it first came out and so I sort of missed the boat altogether
I only know Julia Davis from Gavin and Stacey but always thought she was one of the strongest, if not the very best, comedy actors on there. She’s insanely talented.I had to look up Vicky Pepperdine when I first started listening ...I couldn’t believe they are both from London! Joan’s Scottish accent is flawless, I’m so glad they made that choice it adds to her character somehow, i imagine a gaudier Kirsty Wark. Who plays who ? I can’t even tell that for sure. Is Julia Davis Jericha? (Also what kind of name even is Jericha?! And her daughter is called something ridiculous and hilarious too what is it....?)

I’ve just got into podcasts and I am obsessed!! Downloaded the app from App Store on iPhone

‘The High Low’ is soooo good and chats about current affairs etc.. I don’t know how to make it sound good but it is😂
I’ve also listened to ‘Maybe Baby’- essentially a couple each week chatting with guests as they decide if they want a baby or not! (I don’t have kids yet so I found this really fascinating, hahaha)

the worst you can do is start listening and see if they engage you or if your mind stops listening early on 😂
