The patch to fix the PHP vulnerability was applied to tattle servers shortly after being released yesterday.
Thanks to the deployments of Cloudflare and a few other config changes there was protection before the patch was applied.
With AI we're unfortunately likely to see more of these in the future. It's highly recommended to use an email forwarder like https://addy.io/ for every login. Then in the worst case scenario of email addresses compromised it would be largely meaningless. Passwords on tattle are hashed (scrambled and unreadable) but it's also highly recommended to use a password manager.
It's important to always have an email that works, but if your email for every company is a unique forwarder like [email protected] it's much safer.
