How is the podcast this year? I stopped listening at the end of the year due to ‘the team’ I know they’ve got a few bad reviews about it so I wondered if they’ve gone back to basics yet?
I haven't listened lately so no idea. Hopefully they learn and get rid tbh, the "team" obviously aren't very good if they pushed for that kind of content.
I don't mind 'the team' so much, although Pippa can be annoying, but I listened to this weeks with the manifestation woman and bloody hell Sam was annoying (more so than normal) he kept completely derailing the chat, brought everything back to himself and basically acted like he knew better than the expert!
If they want guests on the podcast they'll really have to work on their interview skills!

I think the team are simply part of the generation that want to be known...
Back in the day, Chris Moyles team were always heard in the background as a good addition but I can't really think of many others.
Whereas this generation seem to want to pit themselves beside the talent?

I really do like Pete and enjoyed the podcast he did with Paul Brunson. It’s Sam that irritates me now, I feel like he’s changed since the jungle and very full of himself. I do think Pete is genuine.
Just watched his dog show, I’m not an emotional person but I cried at the end of ep 4!! It was fantastic, and even Mr Satsuma was impressed with his presenting style (and he hates folk from reality tv!)

I never watch DOI so can't comment about Pete on there but I *am* enjoying his audiobook "Too Close". He's so honest and upfront.

It’s getting worse! This was my favourite podcast but I’m considering stopping watching because it’s too much about “the team” now. That Pippa girl interrupted the pod quite a few times the last episode. She was playing YouTube through the mic which cut them off, then sneezed really loudly which again interrupted the pod, then she’s talking so loud. Ugh. So unprofessional. If you need to sneeze, at least try and hide it with a tissue. I don’t really understand these dynamics. We want to listen and watch Sam and Pete!
Where can we make comments about this in hope they’ll see it? Surely they want to make the listeners happy…no other podcast lets their team take so much control and stage time as Sam and Pete let their team do. Now when they’re talking…they don’t even talk directly at the camera to their listeners, they’re just talking to their team and we can hear the team laughing. It’s weird.

I used to listen to everyone and sometimes watch the YouTube version but I haven’t listened for weeks. The team bore me.. and Sam is getting on my nerves more than ever with his outbursts. Even Pete is too grumpy…
