Pete has been announced as a contestant on this years Strictly Come Dancing so us Pete fans thought it was only fair he had a rave thread of his own so we also don't fill up the SCD thread with posts about our love for Pete.

Oh hello!

There is absolutely something about him, but I only started getting it after listening to the podcast he does with Sam. I think it's hearing the stories he tells. Like it feels like he's genuinely a nice guy under the "media exterior", and I quite like that. Bad boy done good kind of thing.

It's a shame he's coloured his beard in these days and it makes him look too preened. He looks better in the thoese photos with very natural beard.

I agree he seems like a nice down to earth guy. I hope he makes it to Halloween week on Strictly and dresses as Jack Sparrow as a fellow tattler suggested

I had gave up on Towie by the time Pete came on to it. So only came across him on Celebs Go Dating. Love his relationship with Sam. He’d defo be a good guy to have in your corner I reckon (and I’m sure he’d throw you about pretty good too )

Literally. He is hot. Even if his personality was tit, he's very good looking.

I do like his personality too though, his bromance with Sam cracks me up

Same! I did watch him and Sam on the circle too and he came across so well and you could see his genuine friendship with Sam!

I had no idea who he was on an episode of The Weakest Link but I thought he came across really well on it. Laurence Lewellyn Bowen was on it as well and they had a running joke that Pete was Laurence's long lost son. Both of them played along with very good humour. I was also impressed by how well Pete did in terms of his general knowledge. He's clearly a bright lad. I'm looking forward to seeing him on Strictly and, yes, him as Jack Sparrow would be inspired.

I'm 100% only watching this series for him!! And a little bit cause I expect Tasha to be really good!!

There is also a programme with him and dogs sometime this year I think. Dogs Trust are involved. Now how can you not love him for that.
I listen the podcast, Staying Relevant, it's funny too.
He definitely has a good heart under the celebrity mask.

He was a twit on The Island. He’d been vegetarian for a weekend at that point and was lecturing the other contestants about it - including bemused lifelong vegan Jo Wood. He demanded that no one eat the pig. He then tied the pig to a tree, where it promptly strangled itself.
He then got really upset- not about the dead pig, but the fact it made him look bad on camera.

Wasn’t there some pap photos of him a few years being pretty aggressive to a girlfriend? Can see why people find him physically attractive, but think he’s got a nasty streak.
