So disappointed in Pete the irony of Pete supposedly saying he’s glad he and Maura are no longer together as he no longer wants that kind of drama, and then Ibiza happened Pete can try and convince us he’s a changed man, but I very much doubt he is. The birthday post for Jowita was a low blow, he knew damn well what comments fans would make, and it’s clearly not a thing. I hope Jowita is ok, as she seems a very soft, sweet girl

He’s too old for that Ibiza behaviour it’s actually sad.I don’t know if it’s an act or the real him.I don’t get the whole birthday post for Jowita is was a bit much but he needs to keep out of the press for the wrong reasons.

He was a complete prick on MIC and was a cheat aswell.He would definitely dump Pete if he got a good opportunity he puts nothing into his podcast Pippa and Pete do all the work on there,he shows up and apparently hasn’t a clue what’s happening he’s just handed a script.I see now he’s pushing a young blonde model as his new girlfriend she must be looking the media attention.

I really don’t know how or why Pete puts up with him. I don’t think they’re as close as they want us to think they are. They’ve used each other really.
Pete’s got his faults but he puts a lot of work into the podcast/business.
I think Sam’s just had everything handed to him on a plate all his life so doesn’t expect to have to work for anything.
I’ve really gone off him.

I bloody love this man. Just watched an episode of Celebrity (Lucky Stars) Tipping Point and I was rooting for him to win - he didn't, but won a decent amount of money for his charity which was Dogs On The Streets. Imo there's nothing more sexy than a man who cares about the welfare of animals.

I started listening to his autobiography on Spotify today. He seems a really decent guy. I'm already half way through it so will probably finish it tomorrow. I feel quite ridiculous because I do have quite the crush on him. It's like being a teen again .

I know some people side eye his friendship with Vicky Pattison (and he mentions in the book he's close to Coleen Nolan who is also a bit controversial). I'm looking at it a different way. If someone as decent seeming as him has the time for them, then maybe they are decent people too, who just get bad press.

He looked very nice on Strictly tonight. Grrrrr

I always got the impression that more went on with Maura than they would have us believe.
Luke Hamnett posted something on Instagram at the start of the summer which made me think they were still fighting, unfollowing each other on Instagram and clearly still getting under each others skin. He then spent the last few months posting black and white moody pictures with songs about getting back with the ex that you did wrong. (He’s like a kid)
He seems to have been in a sulk since the NTA’s, she was there so who knows.
I liked them together, he seemed his happiest and they are very similar, but he’s a troubled guy. If she’s got any sense she’ll cut him loose.
He needs to stop dating his friends otherwise he won’t have any left!

Just seen something interesting on ‘ therealitycheckshowuk’ on insta and TikTok. (Should put those Pete and Jowita rumours to bed) . They are interviewing a trans person, who has screenshot messages from Pete to them. Apparently Pete has got the lawyers involved. Others coming forward apparently Nothing wrong in it, was just curious after something said before

Interesting. The messages on their story are from 2022 and early 2024 so they’re old messages.

Captioning the video “Pete has a secret fetish” is clearly them trying to start something so it’s not surprising he turned it over to his legal team. Trans women are women IMO and it doesn’t feel too surprising considering how many women Pete must message on IG - it’s his version of Tinder, right?

(There’s still a big leap from messaging a pretty woman who you later find out is trans to the behaviour that reddit poster mentioned a few weeks back.)

Why would you broadcast to the nation you got so drunk on Christmas Day, you fell over, knocked yourself out, had a lit candle fall on you, and awoke to your elderly dog licking your face! Not real friends! They all go on each others podcasts and blow smoke up each others arses about how amazing they are! Everyone seems to make a million excuses for him rather than pointing out that the only person that stands in his way is himself! It all seems very disingenuous.

The more I listen to the pod, the less I like them both. I think they are both very inappropriate on the pod at times, and for me it gives an insight into who they actually are Pete talks about how Towie Pete was an act, but to me he’s more Towie Pete than he was a year ago and his insta follows tells another story

Exactly….Pete had everyone fooled during strictly with the oh I’m a changed man now,Towie Pete’s not the real me….the minute the show was over he’d cheated on Maura,fell out of every club and bar on a weekend and likes at least 10-20 young girls pictures on instagram.The only act he put on was the one pretending he’d changed .

Personally, I love the podcast and really enjoyed the O2 show. It’s grown in popularity over the last couple of years and they’ve found a format which works. It’s a really entertaining listen twice a week and I’m looking forward to the book too.

As for Pete and Jowita, they’re clearly very good friends and supportive of one another. The likes of Pippa, Vicky, and his agent are often in her comments - and Jowita even went to his agent’s birthday dinner - so the two of them are obviously very close And, as a Strictly fan, I think it’s really nice that they’re one of the examples of a friendship actually lasting beyond the series.
