Modibodi. I’m someone for who the gusset is always too far back but the absorbent part on Modibodi comes up high at the front on their overnight pants.
Yep, second that. I have M&S and Modibodi and the Modibodi has a longer absorbent section in the pairs I have (high absorbency for overnight).
Have you looked at TCS-eco? They designed them here in the uk and it’s full front to back coverage.

ETA I think my issue is I don't need heavy flow pads. I am on the mini pill so don't get proper periods I just get spotting which can be on the heavier side. But because I'm a front sleeper and I guess my anatomy, I need more coverage up front than back. I don't even need full coverage, just the absorbant bit to start a little further forwards. I don't want big bulky knickers when my flow isn't heavy but I don't want to bleed through normal knickers or the not padded part of traditional light period pants
Would love to switch and definitely want to buy some period underwear, but haven't got on with the cup I bought a while back.

My friend went from cup to disc, didn’t rate the disc found it hard to get in and out, went back to the cup.
I struggle with the cup some times, have days where it doesn’t sit right, I end up wearing period pants with it.
I’m thinking of gettin a swimming costume but not sure if I trust it… bearing in mind, to clean the pants you rinse them

Used period pants for years whilst on the mini pill and suffering from a lot of spotting/breakthrough bleeding that wasnt heavy enough for tampons but would ruin knickers without a liner. As I was so light I could wear the same pants all day no issue.
Having revently divorced I have come off the pill so now have proper periods.
I have recently decided to try a disc as tampons are just frustrating. Not finding insertion too difficult, although I am not 100% convinced it sits right. Anyway, I keep thinking I need to empty it every few hours like I would tampons. Anyone else think this?
I know you can leave it for 12 hours and I would love to pop it in and get on with my day but I feel like its a mental thing at the moment and it is causing me stress. Maybe as I get more used to it this will go.

You will get to the point where you will forget about it! I’ve got in bed before got comfy and remembered I hadn’t emptied it! But then the next day I know it’s there and feel

just ordered three pairs of period pants from m&s. are they just useful for before ur period starts, through the night and near the end? or do any of you wear them the whole time your on your period? mines are heavy
I’ve worn them during, but wasn’t that heavy. I found them better at night but wore cycling shorts with them as im a fish out of water at night lol
before period starts, then day one with moon cup as I tend to be heavy then on their own for day 2&3 or with moon cup if I don’t fancy changing during the day
I think they are great when you know you are due on and at the end when you think you're done but not sure. I also use them as back up on heavier days with a cup/disc/tampon
