100% this. Barca fans must be so mad that he admits to how great Madrid is. If people can’t admit he is one of the greatest footballing managers they are idiots. They always say things like he need to manage some random side with no money etc. Well no, he doesn’t have to .

He also has repeatedly praised and expressed admiration for Sir Alex which confuses and pisses some people off. “He’ll never be as good as FERGIE.” Um, he just said that himself. It‘s so funny to watch him be classy and gracious and watch the haters grow more confused by it.

Yeah, no, he has demonstrated beyond a doubt what a talented manager he is. He doesn’t need to “prove himself” by managing some poverty club to satisfy the jealous and resentful knobs. (These are the same knobs who would wee in their pants with excitement if Pep ever did join their clubs, btw.)

I’m still shocked that Gundo’s wife didn’t name Tast. So obvious and that whole uproar could have been avoided. (To those who don’t know the story, what happened was someone asked Gundo’s wife in a live chat what her favorite restaurant in Manchester is and she said none of them and proceeded to criticize the food as unfresh, etc. She predictably got destroyed for it. She should have just done the diplomatic thing and named the restaurant that’s co-owned by her husband’s boss instead of slagging off the whole city.)

I’m going to Tast next month when I’m in Manchester. I pathetically walked over to see his building this summer when I was there. In my defense, it was when the team was here in the US for the friendlies so I knew he wasn’t home. I saw the outside of Bernardo & Ines’s building, too. Sad, I know. But hey, I wasn’t going to fly all the way from California and not see it!
