I call it Manchester City Derangement Syndrome. Even before all this controversy, everyone loves to hate City in a way that’s completely hypocritical and nonsensical. I still see comments that Haaland is “overrated”. You think anyone would say that if he played for literally any other club on earth with all the goals he’s scored this season? Also, I laugh at how PL trophies don’t mean anything when City win them, but now that Arsenal is on the cusp of doing it, the narrative is “omgggggg they’re going to win the Prem! The hardest trophy to win! Best league in the world!” Same with all the cups. I guarantee you that if City were to ever win the CL, the narrative will flip “meh, Champions League isn’t really that competitive.”

I hope we humble them again they seemed to drop off after our last game against them. They haven’t really had any major injuries so they must be due some
