22 - think I have around 20k in a private pension that’s been paid in since I was born. I’ve also have my civil service pension which I pay about 5% of my salary in and I think the government put in around 20% of my pensionable salary in per year(?) not too sure though.
I think I have about 50k in a pension. But I’m quite lucky that my employer pays it and it’s ridiculously high what they pay in without me contributing. I’m 39 so got a long way to go get and it increases. It’s currently at 11% due to go up to 15 when I hit 40 and then 20 when. I hit 50
I don't even know about my pension . I'm sure I've had ones at past jobs . I don't work enough hours at my current job it automatically opted me out of my workplace pension.
You should find out your past ones as they all count. Don’t forget about them. Either keep them or move them into another one. But check the transfer rates as they may be better off where they are
I have a work's pension. Currently, if I keep earning what I earn now until I retire, I will receive a monthly pension of about £900 a month, in today's money. I will also get a small lump sum payment. Along with my state pension, I won't be rich in retirement but I'll be just about even with my earnings
I ignore the statement, sometimes it goes up 9% a year. Sometimes it goes down 4% 
It does include a calculation that I'll receive a state pension which feels very wishful. I don't think a paying a state pension for 20-30 years is really that sustainable. After all it was bought in for those that suffered a hard life with the wars and who lived beyond average life expectancy. So they didn't starve and freeze to death and on average only claimed for a few years. They will probably link it to life expectancy and means test it away so anybody who has saved even a little won't get anything.
