hello hopping on!! i recently hopped back into peloton after a break so do more “lifting” but i missed it lol
susie chan is my faaaaave for the tread! she recently helped me get a sub 35 min 5km, which is impressive since i couldn’t run 5km in less than 50 mins in september - daniel is great too (absolutely no filter)
bike is cody - just so fun
boot camps HAVE to be Jess sims
and i really like adrian williams for strength!
Adrians strength classes are ace aren’t they? I tried a Callie class the other day and she’s quite good so I might start rotating who I pick there.
Will have a look at the other instructors. I’ve heard good things about Susie :)

Peloton users. Who are your fave instructors? I seem to circle round to Ben + Wilpers on the bike and Becs, Wilpers + Adrian for running/strength. Who am I missing out on?
Definitely Cody for bike, I also like robin and jess king, Olivia if I want my butt kicked.

jess sims is my favourite strength and bootcamp instructor, she has almost like a cross-fit style of training which I like

Wilpers appeals to the training side of life. I’ve picked running back up after a very long time and really enjoy his approach. Becs is excellent too, she really pushes you (in a good way).

Tunde is so good actually, her 10 min light weight arms classes are exhausting and I like her style of intervals and arms class - usually one song bike one song weights for 45 minutes

I like Leanne's rides and seem to do her rides when browsing for one. Also a fan of Ally Love, Alex, Hannah, Cody and Robin.

I love Wilpers, Ben and Hannah Frankson on the bike - if you like UK Garage, check out her 30min ride

For the bike usually go for Leanne, Ben and Sam as they have great music choices. Jenn Sherman is also fab, great music although don't take her classes if you're easily offended, she loves to drop the f bomb

Yes I’ve been following them for a while it’s fantastic but I really need to stick to the calendar and do it religiously 😅 I do it for like a week and then drop off, it’s going to be my goal for January to commit to it fully. There are some amazing results
Agreed on the results. I’m debating whether to give it a go properly. I’ve dipped in and out and have enjoyed the classes that I have done, and the rides. And I think it’s great value for what you get(I just have the monthly sub as we can’t get the bike or app in Ireland, but I have my own spin bike). Am using the Courtney Black app, but only for Jay, I actually dislike her🤣 Currently considering either the STRNG app or else HEF. But I’m wondering should I just give Hardcore a proper go. It’s cheaper, and the results from people who stick with it seem to be amazing!

Really curious to hear about other people's "week of Peloton" workouts like what they've been sharing on their Instagram page. I'm currently doing 3 rides a week but feel like I could be better utilizing all the different range of classes. Probably going to add 2 or 3 strength classes into the mix and a lower impact ride to improve technique and stamina. What do everyone else's average week look like?

I do 3/4 rides a week (at least 30mins for each session, arms included). Then I'll do a 30 pilates class twice a week if I'm feeling extra energetic. I'd deffo reccommend the strength classes and or the bike bootcamps. Don't be too hard on yourself, our bodies needs time to recover and looking at some people's activity, I'm convinced they don't have a full time job and/or kids

I try and ride every day Mon-Fri but will alternate between 20 min/30 min, HIIT/intervals & arms/low intensity. I'm not one for always beating my PB either, if it happens it happens but I will just take it easy as and when I need to.

My week is usually -
Monday - core, legs, run
Tuesday - upper body, run or spin
Weds - full body, power walk, spin
Thurs - bike bootcamp, pilates, barre
Fri - core, power walk or hike
Sat - Saturday 60 tread bootcamp
Sun - yoga, walk, spin

Plus lots of stretching every day!

Looks like a lot but it's about 45mins-1hr15 a day once I get home from work, or I squeeze in something at lunchtime if I'm wfh

Join the hardcore on the floor group. On fb or follow their insta for ideas on how to set your week up!

From previously doing some of the programs I’ve found stacking short workouts means I maximise my time. I mostly ride before work or in my lunch break.
My week usually is -
Mon - core, arms, low impact ride.
Tues - core, legs, easy run.
Weds - walk, this is my big rest day.
Thurs - music ride, core, legs, tempo run.
Fri - music ride, core, walk.
Sat - Parkrun or long walk/hike or sometimes nothing and take another rest day.
Sun - long run or PZE 60/90min.
This works for me. My mid week rides are usually between 15-30 mins depending on time. I stack the 10-20 mins strength depending on time again.
I stretch every day either after a workout or stand-alone. I also do pre run warm ups, they’re essential for me.

Usually
legs and glutes,
arms and shoulders,
chest and back
and then a full body bootcamp

I always do a 20/30 minute ride 5 times a week, usually before the strength, during my lunch break because I work from home so its very easy for me to run upstairs! I love the bike classes and instructors so I would choose to do the cardio over strength if I was short on time

Hi. My sis is getting a peloton, do any of you have a bike +, is it worth the 700£ extra?

My friend has the plus and I have the regular
Only differences are:
Better speakers
Slightly bigger screen
Screen swivels
Auto resistance for on demand rides only

I'm happy I went with the regular :)

I have the regular bike, I wasn't bothered by the additional features. The auto resistance didn't interest me, I bought a gadget to swivel the screen and the better speakers aren't relevant to me either as I only ever wear headphones.

I think I saw that Vitality are doing an offer on insurance and the Bike+ if your sister is interested in it.

I have the regular one and it’s grand! Not fussed
on auto resistance as can’t keep up as it is sometimes 😂

I’ve bought the swivel to turn my screen and a watch link to connect my Apple Watch for less then 100 total

Has anyone tried lanebreak? I gave it a go earlier and it’s great! Bloody hard though 😂
