They were recently reported in the BBC for their “empowering” “wear what you like” message but it got so much backlash from people who were not impressed with them being seen as empowering since a lot of their photos involve essentially people nude in nature and wearing leggings that are basically to show off their bums. Someone branded them as “top shelf” material and only there to try and get followers and free leggings.
They also coined the hashtag #thursdaypervday where they put near nude or revealing photos of men and women. This also was seen as contradictory to the “empowerment” message.
What is the verdict on this? Interested to know if anyone has come across this and has any thoughts! I feel like I’m on the fence with this at the moment. Someone did comment that they wouldn’t want their kids seeing it and thinking it’s ok to get their naked bums out in public….
