It's very lads lads lads today, and I say that as someone who grew up in a house full of brothers and sports.

I was slightly surprised that Josh asked Rob to explain Talksport to "the mums listening". Also when he was talking about his daughters, he said he was "lucky" that they're not caking their faces in makeup and wearing mini skirts, and then the whole thing about shaking womens' hands. It felt a bit 1950s at times.
Aren’t they only 10&8?

I’m proud to be the default parent to be honest. Nothing makes me smugger to find I’m the one they want, and dad’s forgotten something again- means I can use it as leverage to get something I want- usually a trip away 🤣🤣🤣
Exactly the same here :ROFLMAO: I didn't even realise it was a thing, let alone something to write a bloody book about.

Did anyone see her insta story in the ice bath? I genuinely thought it was an old grandma before i released who's insta i was on

In this week's 'normal for the times' episode they ruminate on what their kids might disagree with about their parent at the moment. Hopefully his girls will realise being spoilt probably doesn't help them long term but who knows? 🤪 They might also ask why they got taken to Florida 3 times a year for their whole childhood

I'm a football fan and enjoy Parenting Hell so don't mind it, although I don't get the impression that either of them are particularly ardent football fans so it is a bit of an odd one.
Josh used to do a podcast (with Michael) about football in the 90s. Tied together the football and his love of 90s nostalgia well 😆 he’s a Plymouth Argyle fan.

I'm not one for guest episodes or watching podcasts but I made the exception for Matt "Legend" Morsia. You can tell he hasn't always been the beautiful specimen he is now because he actually has a personality and amazing sarcastic humour.

I mean, a lot of these people might have been asked but maybe they don’t want to talk about their family for a variety of reasons. I love both Helen Skelton and Bob Mortimer but Helen went through a pretty bad divorce while her youngest was still a baby and maybe doesn’t want to end up getting into all that. I googled and Bob doesn’t really talk about his kids
Yes that’s true, but she often will speak about them in other things and on her insta, and to be honest, some of the guests don’t really say much about parenting at all! 🤣🤣🤣

I also love it! However; does anyone else find Tom Craine intensely irritating? I wish he was less involved in the podcast. I find his input unfunny, uninteresting and I know he can’t help it but his speech impediment (lisp?) is so grating on my ears! Love love love the ones with Matt Crosby & Suzi Ruffell though.
I find his input a bit pointless as he just laughs and doesn’t really add anything.

Oh dear! she couldn’t put any less on her fork if she tried 😂 surely to go on a cooking show you’d have a be a foodie it’s strange.
