Listening to how today's guest was bantering with Rob I did wonder if the way Rob is with Josh is just standard for those in the comedy circuit. It was funny to hear Rob being taken the piss out of for a change

I really want to see it. Michael (the producer) spoke about it a few months ago & said how amazing it was. I'm just about to search how I can watch it!
I’m hearing such good things about this film - I’m not a film watcher but this one’s on my list!

my most recent irritation is robs repeated use of nerd for anything/person remotely not in his own taste of “standard”
I don’t think he’s a bad guy but I don’t like the teasing, I think it makes him less nice than I actually think he is but I think it probably comes from a leftover low self esteem issues or old self views of himself that aren’t true anymore. I’m not sure if I’m getting across what I mean succinctly if I’m honest. I am def not trying to have a go at him though.
and ye the constant im so tired thing is annoying too BUT I also don’t want them to start heavily editing themselves because they Will only share what they think we want to hear then which will make it boring as f***k

I just watched the ballad of Wallis island (after hearing about it on the pod!) and it was amazing 🥹 definitely worth a watch

It's this kind of story that makes it understandable how Rob gets so infuriated with Josh and grips into winding him up poor Rose.

Yeah I did think the same. If someone actually asks, they must have been very loud.
I thought that too, particularly in a family resort. Does make you wonder what they were doing!
Are Rob’s kids definitely at a private school? Because if they are then they would get more weeks holidays than mainstream at Christmas, Easter and during the Summer. Also private schools are more lenient with holidays during term time as you’re paying for it whether the kids are in school or not plus no interference from the LA. The way he talks about it makes me think maybe they aren’t in private school

He's talked about how Lou & the girls are going to meet him in Australia when he's out there in October. If its towards the end of that tour, he might take them out of school longer
Ah see this makes more sense! I thought surely it’s not down to financial reasons
I think that's why he said he was playing the long game about not taking them out early in the recent school holidays
