Ahh I still love the pod! I think the opinions on here are quite harsh at times. Yes they’re in a privileged position with their careers being high paid and flexible but they’re still allowed to be tired and find things hard. Who wants to listen to a podcast of Joe bloggs working a 9-5 and struggling to juggle paying their mortgage, nursery fees and maybe getting to go on the odd holiday. I live that every day I don’t want to hear about it twice a week on a podcast 😂

No one is saying they’re not allowed to have difficult times — just maybe stop constantly complaining to an audience who likely has far fewer privileges and even more reason to be exhausted!

I’m with you - their moans and groans don’t bother me at all.
The only thing I seem to get annoyed by is when Rob nags Josh or uses him as ‘joke’ content when he just comes across as a bully (he seems to be better at this lately though)

Couldn’t get the link to work for me unfortunately but a quick Google using the title in the article and I found it on YouTube. Couldn’t be bothered to watch it all. From what I did see it‘s not very practical decor imo as a holiday let but each to their own. Must cost a small fortune to holiday in though. It’s huge 😳

I like that it said he had renovated it with his wife. I don't think he visited more than once before it was done 🤣🤣

Some of the comments on the YouTube video are amusing: 'this house looks like what it is. the home of a probably perfectly nice woman with money and without any aesthetic sense who makes impulse buys from etsy'

The house isn't totally my style but I do think it's beautiful - it was almost a ruin when they bought it.

I think Rose is doing what I would certainly do if I didn't have to worry about money that much - indulging a hobby and seeing if she can turn it into a business without too much pressure.

I've said it before but I'm definitely a Josh apologist and I guess by extension a Rose apologist. They live a nice life and enjoy it and I don't begrudge them.

But they still need to teach their kids to sit nicely at the table when they eat out 😂

I really love the Cornwall House. They could make a £££ renting it out for photo shoots. I see they will be renting it out

I’ve been rewatching the old Taskmasters and this is definitely true!
I thought it was funny how they mentioned on the pod about tattoos and how Josh would get one, he’s already got Greg Davies name on his foot🤣

I turned radio 2 on earlier and within approx 7 seconds heard ‘I’ll tell you that for free’ 😂

I think Josh is a very natural tv and radio presenter, much more so than Rob. He also comes across really well in interviews.

I think they're very different which is why the pod works - Rob is more of a Saturday night entertainer, and Josh is really well suited to radio and topical satire/writing. They wouldn't go up for the same jobs imo. The 2nd series of Smart TV played to both their strengths.
