Imagine how intense a day out with him and Josh would be if they were worried about anything, bleeping hell.

Just listened to today, I so wanted to give Ivo a huge hug, he’s obviously still finding it deeply difficult to co-parent his daughter. Although in the second half of the interview some bits made me laugh out loud, especially the bit about having a medium hard life but only being brought up to deal with an easy life 😂

I love Ivo Graham - I enjoyed him on Taskmaster and have seen him do stand up as well as Carousel, the theatre show he was talking about. Really enjoyed this episode!

I thought it was a good episode & J&R handled it really well. Fair play to Ivo, he could of asked for it not to be aired at all. If you are an Ivo fan watch The Hit List from a couple of weeks ago. He was brilliant

You could hear the difference in his voice in the two parts! It’s good to have episodes like this, they highlight mental health a lot, the episode after Josh’s breakdown had me in tears!

If you've not listened to today's pod, here's the summary:

They're tired.

(both have all summer off)

I found Josh pretty unbearable on today’s one. Imagine someone at work being in a meeting or giving a presentation and being such a child that they can’t stop themselves saying ‘I’m so tired’ every few minutes. He never fails to give me the absolute ick.

It probably didn't help that I was listening whilst working (I'm a house cleaner) and I'd had a really late night after unexpectedly driving to Liverpool (plus husband in his car and daughter in law in her car) to pick up 9 stranded relatives who'd been at the LFC parade and couldn't get home.

It took us an hour to get to them (we live near Wigan) then took them back to Warrington which took over an hour with all the traffic and then had another 40 minute journey home after that.

So Josh.....I was also very tired today but I didn't wang on about it to my customers (although I did mention it to one to explain why I couldn't speak coherently at one point 😂).

Edit to add for extra sympathy that I'd already done a 2 hour round journey plus an hour visit to my dad's carehome in Southport earlier in the day!

I could do with a chauffeur and a duvet on the back seat 😉

The constant complaints about how tired they are comes across as unbelievably self-indulgent and tone-deaf. They live such cushioned, privileged lives. They could use a serious reality check. Try raising children alone, while chronically ill, on a zero-hours contract—like millions of people in this country do every day.

The ’sexy and relatable’ thing is not really happening- they’ve have lost touch with ‘normal’ life. The sort of life where you work your a off all year but still only get 25 day’s holiday- so funnily enough can’t take the whole of August off and regularly miss school events 🙄

I wonder how long the pod will go on for? I can imagine Rob bowing out first, maybe when the girls are teenagers. Would parenting hell continue? I bet they’d swap out presenters, maybe someone like Joel dommett would take over with Josh?

I feel like they don’t talk loads about their family life anymore.. but I bet they’re reluctant to end it with all the money they make from it!

Agreed. Hopefully Lou will check in on this thread and let them know to knock it off 🤣

I've felt like its run its course for a while now. It feels like neither of them can be bothered with it anymore.
