I've not listened to a guest episode for a while now. However, after watching Last One Laughing (if you've not watched it yet, I highly recommend it), I'd really like an episode with Richard Adoade!
Ah we loved it. I really hope there’s another series/season!

I can't help but adore Giles Brandreth, he's so interesting and I felt he was very respectful on the podcast - he knows when to play it for laughs and having seen him on various panel shows etc he can run away with his stories but he did try to keep them on track somewhat with the boys.

Much more enjoyable than last weeks, I had never heard of the footballer they interviewed and thought he came across as a bit of a wick in regards to his daughter going to uni.

I’ve taken to skipping the celebrity interview ones unless it’s someone I know/like. I will listen to Giles’ episode though!

That’s so funny, I find Gyles utterly insufferable. Far too fond of the sound of his own waffly voice.

I also thought the footballer and his attitude to his daughter’s autonomy was awful. He also quite vaguely talked about which kids do/don’t live with him but the eldest does, which to me screamed that his wife is not the mother of them all.

I’d never heard of that footballer either. They were trying to make out that he was some iconic guy ... he sounded medieval to me in his attitude to his daughters.

I switched off half way through the footballer one last week as it was so boring. First time I’ve not listened to the full episode. I tend to find the sports ones boring as I’m not interested in the sport talk but that guy was a gob with a boring job!

I’ve always turned tv shows off if Gyles Brandreth was on them 🙈 so I wasn’t going to bother with this weeks but I had nothing else to listen to so gave it a go and ah well, my mind has completely changed! Such a great chat and, although his kids are obviously a lot older and he doesn’t talk much about them 😂, he does genuinely seem like a great parent. I enjoyed all his little stories!

I think it shows how you get out what you put in, I bet Gyles has a lovely relationship with his adult children

First seven minutes of today’s episode and Rob has interrupted Josh about fourteen times. 🤣

Not podcast related but I really think their Smart TV show is underrated - probably one of the best panel shows I’ve seen come out in recent years.

All the guests seems to be having a good time, which is definitely not always the case in every show

The clip going round with the guy from hollyoaks this week has had me chuckling every time.

Agree although I really regretted watching an episode with my 8 and 12 year old boys that featured a clip from Naked Attraction 😳

Listened to the Stacey and Joe episode and I’m sure they kept saying that they have 5 children but don’t they have 6?

They have 3 together, Stacey has 2 from other partners and Joe has 1 from another partner. Out of respect for Harry’s mum, Stacey doesn’t mention him even in joint things with Joe but Joe mentions him in things he does.
Although I noticed a couple of times Rob went to mention Harry and then didn’t.

She said 5 at the beginning then Rob mentioned that Joe had an older son so they did briefly talk about him. Totalling it as 5 and not bringing him up yourself is a bit weird, but then I don't think he/his mum has been keen on him being in the spotlight so maybe that's why?
