Famous or not, I don't think it's fair to be asking someone for selfies if they're out with their kids. They didn't ask for well-known parents.
Yes but he doesn’t need to moan about it so much surely? And I really don’t think it’s as often as he makes out - especially in another country.

My ES gets asked for selfies BUT rarely when abroad as he normally has sunglasses/cap on it’s a great disguise 😂

The podcast has lost its way IMO. I don't want to hear two wealthy, successful men moaning about how tired they are, their busy showbiz schedules, their house renovations on their various properties, mega expensive holidays, how irritating fans are etc. The podcast worked during lockdown because we were all in the same boat. They are forgetting who they are and who their audience is. They need to become more relatable again or its over. Josh tries but someone needs to have a word with Rob.
Rob has previously managed Lou reads here so be prepared for a shoutout😂

The cynic in me thinks all this Florida content is a way to get even more freebies.
Judging by all the tagging and shoutouts, they clearly got gifted stays/park entry/meals on this latest trip. And not an #ad or #gifted to be seen which is disappointing

Agree with everyone that’s already been posted. I used to love PH and listen to the episodes the same day they’re released, never missed any. I’m just not as interested anymore. The guests aren’t any good recently and Rob has also started to do my head in. I also don’t wanna listen to an episode all about Disney after seeing it all already on Lou’s stories and showcasing how much money they can afford to waste on bleeping cups. Boring.

Lou going to that Halloween night early just so she could get a cup and leaving Rob to do the girls Halloween makeup was just 😢

I thought the same thing about the gifted Everglades visit….no mention of it on Lou’s insta. Absolutely can’t stand it when people aren’t transparent about things like that.

I’ve gone off Rob a bit too recently. I don’t really know how to word it properly without it coming across as nothing more than jealousy, but I promise it is more than that 🤣
Obviously it’s no secret to me, or anyone else, that both money and a bit of fame opens certain doors for you, which is great, well done you, make the most of the opportunity.
I just think that there’s a way of doing it that’s a bit more mindful than him and Lou seem to be at the moment.

I also find it very strange that he thinks that a child owning a pony turns them in to a wick - yet doesn’t seem concerned about the privileges he does give his daughters…

He clearly knows nothing about the reality of owning a pony (muck, graft and more muck) … it’s a great challenge and responsibility for any child who is interested in equestrian sport. I would argue that flying (business class) for 5* holidays several times a year is instilling a level of expectation and privilege in his children. Now fair enough perhaps we’d all do the same but he’s the one with the massive working class chip on his shoulder. Can he honestly not see it?

They scream "new money". Personally, it doesn't bother me I still quite like Rob. I've always preferred Josh anyway but I get what you're saying

I find it hard to empathise with adults who are so into Disney but accept they are out there and living their lives! But it is unrelatable content for me and holidays to Florida sound exhausting to me with the level of organisation and activity required.

Rob’s episode about his flight disaster a couple of years ago was great. Bang on. The trampoline had me in tears of laughter. They still have episodes that make me laugh a lot. But please not too much about Orlando.

Also have to agree with special episodes. I have SEN kids and while occasionally wishing that some of the content gave a little more of a nod to those of us with those challenges, on the whole it’s nice to just listen to funny stuff. I’m bit sure what a single podcast episode on SEN is going to add.

I’m not too fussed about Disney but don’t mind hearing it about it, so long as it’s not all the time. I’m not planning to go, so probably wouldn’t listen to a whole episode with Rob and Lou talking about it.

The thing that most got me from this episode was Rob’s daughter asking whether it hurts when breasts develop and he said no!!! Mine really did!!!

I think Josh did a good job of bringing it back to parenting rather than the lavishness of the whole holiday. Like people have said, I don’t begrudge them spending their money exactly how they like. Rob spends a lot of time away from his family working and so I get spending the money he’s making on really cool stuff for the family. In terms of a full disney episode though I think he needs to remember that for most listeners it’s probably a once in a lifetime trip- if at all.

I get what you're saying but is there not an argument that they lead very lucky, privileged lives because they have well-known parents?!

They’re not really going to do a whole episode of Rob and Lou talking about Disney are they?!

That doesn't mean they shouldn't be protected, surely?
How do you mean? I think we're talking about different things unless I misread the original post. People aren't asking for photos with the girls are they?? Because yes obviously they should say no to that!!

AFAIK, no. I mean more that just because their dad is well known their quality time shouldn't be interrupted by people wanting photos of their dad (even if they do go off to one side sort of thing, which I'm sure they do). And just because fans have perhaps contributed to the priveleged position that Rob (and by extension the girls) is in now, that does not mean he is a commodity and necessarily owes them anything.

I really don’t think he gets recognised in Florida, maybe once or twice! He‘s very full of himself at the moment hopefully someone will have a word with him because it’s a shame he can be funny.

There have been quite a few comments on his recent social media posts where people have said "I knew it was you I saw there." I was surprised how many.

They do, but I don't think that means they should have strangers intruding on their private time with their Dad. Especially as he works away a lot. Plus as they get older they're probably finding it a bit embarrassing that their Dad is on the Telly.

The comments you have mentioned above say they saw him they don’t say we went up to you and asked for a selfie! It could be said it’s a downside to him being a face that is known BUT I do think they have an amazing life he needs to realise this and stop moaning!
