would it be possible to get a thread created in Gossip>Instagrammers>Health Instagrammers for Paleomg/ Juli Bauer? I don't have permissions to create my own thread yet. She's got over 360k followers on Instagram so she's way over the minimum suggested followers.

Thank you!

Thank you mods! I looked all over for a thread about her and couldn't find anything anywhere. I followed her for a looooong time, I think starting back in 2011-12? I only just unfollowed her this past summer but then I just found out she's pregnant and it's kinda brought me back to watching her stories during the day.

I used to love her blog and her snarky comments in them but over time I feel like she's really turned me off as a viewer. She would constantly be pushing some brand partnership or her own fitness guides (and I get it, she has to make money! But it was just non stop selling). And her recent move into spirituality and manifesting, etc was my final straw.

Absolutely nothing against people who believe in those things. It's the way she went about it and was almost like hyper toxic-positivity and 'you're in control of the universe and how you feel' and that's just bull. People have real life issues that can't be fixed with morning meditation.

I do feel bad about Jackson's current health issues and I wouldn't wish that on anyone to have to see their pet suffer.

I have absolutely nothing against midwives or birth centers, and I 100% think that women should have access to the type of birth that they feel most comfortable with. But I don’t really get her acting like c-sections are a bad thing. Sure, they might not be anyone’s first choice when giving birth but they’re used because they save lives.

My niece had to be delivered via emergency c-section and if that wouldn’t have happened, she wouldn’t be here today. The cord was wrapped around her neck and each time my sister pushed, my nieces heart rate dropped to scary levels. Is that the way my sister imagined her birth experience? Definitely not. But at the end of the day, the best birth method is the one that is safest for baby and mom.

Also please stop with the doctor shaming.
