I don't understand why anyone would go to someplace without doing a TON of research, if I was going to get any work done that was to these extremes I'd have a full notebook of research done, even going to the extreme of seeing if it was possible to get information back from previous clients, you can't fix everything, they screw it up an that can be for life

Not to mention having to get on a plane home after undergoing surgery, which might be a risk in itself.
It’s absolute madness. I’d rather save up a bit longer and get it done in my home country. Imagine travelling back when you feel uncomfortable and are in pain!
It's so selfish - go abroad for a cheap procedure, and then the NHS have to pay to sort it out when you come back and it needs correcting.
I love lashes as I have short fair lashes. Unfortunately I got a reaction to the glue, so no more lash extensions for me. I use the strip ones no problems but just use the natural ones for during the day.
Also had my lips and botox done, but it looks quite natural. My practioner doesn't really advertise her work and said she turns many women away who want that duck face look.
What i want to know is how these young ones afford all the lips, filler and botox?!

I used to work with a lady who had eyelash extensions and they looked incredible - really natural.
I've noticed that as I've aged (late 40s here), my lips have thinned ... they're not at that 'mean look' stage yet, but if/when they do, I might look into fillers. I'm more concerned about my 'angry' vertical line above my nose than anything else though.

Some clinics offer payment plans - they'll get the client in for a consultation, then recommend everything under the stars to them and the client will happily sign up, knowing that the payments are spread out. Another lady I used to work with, had botox in several places as well as fillers, every four months and paid something like $250 every week for two years to fund the work that was being done, and was yet to be done, on her "plan". (She also got skincare and free treatments as part of that, so it was quite a good deal ... although still very expensive!). She tried to back out of it at one point as she needed the money and was threatened with a law suit - the fine print basically made her a slave to the plan for life! (Her lawyer did work out a loophole whereby she could settle with them for the full amount of that two year plan but she decided just to see it through until the end).
