Online retail money back/refund

Just a quick question.

I bought two lots of supplements from an online site and their sister company. Paid through PayPal and both payments go to the main company. Both of them have a 60 day money back guarantee.

45 days in, I wasn't satisfied so contacted the main company. Quick response and they sent me returns number and address. However they said I would need to email the sister company about my other order.

Sent two emails, no response to either. Contacted main company who apologised and unhelpfully said to feel free to email them again.

Three emails in and I'm just being ignored. Emailed main company again to ask if they could sort it and no response yet despite responding quickly previously.

How do I escalate this if I get no further contact? Do I contact Trading Standards?
 
How do you go this? I've gone into the purchase in PP and can't see an option for it.
Go to the 'Resolution Centre' instead (google that or paypal.com/disputes/) then click report a problem at the top :)

I've had much better responses contacting companies via twitter messaging rather than email, so that might be an option before you do this?

If you ordered them together I would return them both and get proof from the post office. Then if you don’t get a refund open a claim with PayPal.
