I'm a bit confused, is the AO being rebranded as Co Op Live? I'm Irish but I went to the arena in 2017 and I'm confused as to whether it's the same one. 😂
It’s a brand new arena! Not in the city centre. So the AO and Co Op Live are separate - Co Op is meant to be bigger (until the AO begins its renovations shortly)

but Co Op hasn’t opened yet. Peter Kay was meant to open it a week or so ago, but it was delayed until last week. And then it was delayed until May. There was meant to be a gig tonight - doors at 18:30 and they cancelled the gig at 18:40. Olivia’s due to play on Friday - not looking good :(

I'd be worried about gigs in 2025 happening at that venue at this rate.

That's what you get for having a general manager of a venue slagging off small venues saying that they're poorly run.

Shambles from Coop live.
So many would have non refundable travel & accommodation they’ve lost out on.
Read from the MEN that during the sound check for tonight’s gig, steel bars fell from the ceiling in the lower bowl. Sounds so dangerous.

looks like it’ll be end of June now that’s when her next gap is

They are bleeping lucky that it didn't happen during the actual gig tonight.

To me it’s just shocking that objects were falling in soundcheck hours ago, but they only decided to cancel its hours later AFTER people were in

I can’t see these Manchester dates being rescheduled. Gutted we didn’t go for Birmingham instead :( have a non-refundable hotel room so am taking kids up anyway and we’ll go to a show instead and do some shopping.

Don’t know how the arena didn’t foresee this happening when the first shows were rescheduled last week. I also don’t know how they only cancelled the gig that was supposed to be on tonight when people were already in the arena, even though an air conditioner vent fell from the ceiling when the artist was sound checking earlier in the day and they still somehow left it til people were already in the arena?? It’s a very bad look on them and a gig hasn’t even happened there yet.

To be fair, soundcheck is normally not too far off doors open in my experience. Could be different in this case but every time I queued for a concert you normally hear sound check 30/60 mins before you're let in.

Someone has updated Wikipedia saying dates are rescheduled to 29/30 June - the only two dates we can’t do (if true). duck sake 😂

Wiki been amended again as dates were unsourced 🙄

It was around 3pm people said they heard the artist soundchecking and doors were 6:30pm, that’s ample time to cancel rather than 10 mins after doors

Olivia’s last Europe show is in Lisbon on June 23rd, she restarts July 2nd in the US. Co op have nothing between 26th June and 4th July so I imagine it will be then. Coincidentally, the AO arena also have space then so god I hope she moves it there

She actually has a month off between Lisbon and the tour restarting so there’s plenty of time, it’s just very disappointing for people who’ve spent so much money

Very much so! Hopefully it actually goes ahead but I’m not hopeful :(

Just read that two shows are planning on being moved from Co Op to the AO arena. All shows that were going ahead during “opening season” had a reduced capacity of 15,000 - if true Olivia’s shows could be moved!

AO is far more convenient with it being next to the train platform. Litterally off the train and up the stairs.
