Has anyone mentioned Limewire yet?
I messed up my computer with limewire! 🤣.

Not a website but I used to go on Yahoo chat alot. Men would get me credit for my phone so I could call them! I never called them, but always had loads of credit on my phone 🤣🤣

I wonder if this would work now im older and they could pay my house bills 😜🤣

Can't remember the name, but there was a website where you could download icons and gifs for MSN. Speaking of MSN, does anyone remember those chatbots like SmarterChild and Spleak?

Did the website have loads of "funny" videos of babies singing songs like this one:

I think it was called Flowgo.

Old websites that come to mind are Paperdoll Heaven, Neopets, Piczo (my website was the fucking bomb), Quizilla, Dubit, Death Clock, Habbo, Miniclip, Rate My Poo (🤣?!)
Oh my life you've unlocked so many memories here. This song pops into my head EVERY TIME I hear the words "splish splash" but nobody else seems to remember it so thanks to you I feel validated now!
Had completely forgotten piczo and rate my poo 😂 bored dot com was also a fave! Plus all the random crap on weeblstuff - Catface and Insanity Prawn Boy!

Dollz mania. There were 1000s of little dolls and you could dress them up in so many different clothes. Spent hours on that 🤣

I joined Friends Reunited almost 19 years ago to the month. I thought it was amazing being able to contact people I'd thought I'd very probably never hear of again. Nowadays, everyone takes for granted being able to contact or observe most others from their past through sites like Facebook, etc.

Not really a website but MSN messenger was always the first thing to load when switching the laptop on, was amazing how good it was and much better than anything today. You could see all your friends, just click a button much better interface than Whatsapp.
I loved MSN!! I wish this was still around now! It was nice only being able to be contacted when you had your computer on, unlike now with WhatsApp its constantly available.

And all the mind games involved...putting vague quotes or song lyrics in your name that related to a person or relationship, setting yourself as ‘appear offline’ and coming online when your crush was on too... glory days!!
my two favorites were setting my status to show as whatever music i'm playing on windows media player and of course playing whatever my crush likes 😂 and nudging the hell out of my best friends until they block me

Does anyone else remember those sites for the Nokia phones where you could send a logo for you screen. Or the sites where you would spend ages typing in a sequence for a ring tone 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

I use to love a site called the Orlando Bloom files when I was in sixth form so along time ago. There was a game called mad libs which my friends and I thought was hilarious.

there was also a site with a badger singing that “badger badger badger badger” song.

Rottendog.com sticks in my mind, for some horrible pictures. I only looked out of curiosity but they stay with you.

Others, Friends Reunited as has been mentioned, Bebo, using Yahoo! or MSN as your home page, and Freeview (chat rooms), Crap Towns. Also Internet Explorer as a browser.
