I work for a company of thousands and I never seem to catch any gossip 😂 although years ago an engaged member of a team i worked in got together with our line manager on the side. They are now married

Assistant slept with a director of the company who was the nephew of the managing director.

His wife found out and came to the office and dragged her outside and was screaming at her in the carpark calling her a slut etc while the entire office watched from the windows.

She got moved to a different office by the managing director and given a training contract though 🤦🏻‍♀️

I worked in a call center selling solar panels, one of the floor managers got caught doing some charlie ❄ in the bathroom. Didn't see her again that afternoon. Also have a few stories but I'm not soo anonymous with my username 😂

I used to work for a very large UK based holiday firm. There were about 350 staff in the office and it literally seemed that everyone was shagging everyone. There was the usual stuff, affairs, drug use in the toilets (particularly of a weekend when no management were on shift), people coming in drunk etc.

One thing that sticks in my mind was a Christmas party. The firm always put on a massive party with free drinks on arrival, money behind the bar throughout the evening etc. It was a really good night. The call centre staff who were all mainly fresh out of college so 18 - 25 would always get ridiculously drunk as you do at that age and make a show of yourself. There was this one girl in particular who was 18, she was really drunk and everyone had noticed. Everyone kept referring to her as Pocohontas because she was wearing this beige outfit (it did look like a Pocohontas fancy dress to be fair). Anyway, later on in the evening, one of the rather confident young lads decided to borrow the DJ's mic and shouted "Pocohontas is getting doggied on the terrace". Everyone of course ran in that direction and there she was, getting done doggy style on the terrace by one of the marketing boys whilst sucking off one of the call centre boys. Even having an audience didn't stop her (must've been the booze). Poor girl was mortified when we returned to work after Christmas. I think "Pocohontas is getting doggied on the terrace" is a phrase that will stay with me for life.

Oh the post Xmas party shame/fear. Walking back into the office is a treat. I do this to myself all too often. I never frigging learn.
I noticed this everytime the company I worked for would re-open after the Christmas break. All those drunk men & women, snogging and/or shagging during the party festivities, looked decidedly sheepish on the first day back into the office and had to do the "walk of shame" back to their desks.

Some of them were probably embarrassed at who they got involved with at the party (the beer goggles effect, lol)
And some were keenly aware that if they weren't shagging someone, they were gobbing off with some very choice words/indiscreet stories about some of their colleagues. Which obviously was digested and stored away by the office gossips for later.

Obviously, I was not included in such sordid/debauched/salacious activities :giggle:

My xmas do's were never like this! On the other, I used to do overseas tours with various musical groups and they made roman orgies look like an afternoon tea with the vicar, so I suppose it all balances out.

There were two types. I went on 4 that was mainly 16-21 year olds ( that was my age at the time), and I also did 3 that had 20-40 age range.

The former was alcohol fuelled and on-fire teenage hormones(mine included). Basically quite a lot of bed swapping went on, and the conductor of the band said he was going to write a book about some of the stuff we got up to and waiting to see what happened 9 months after the tour (although I don;t remember any pregnancies, but i wouldn't have been surprised!).

The second was alcohol, drugs (mostly E and charlie - although as I suffer from depression and anxiety I didn't do anything other than alcohol) and a fair bit of bed-swapping including people who were married and the partners weren't with them. That said, the final tour I did was horrible. There was a lot of bullying ( i got a bit of that, but wasn't the only one), and I started seeing people in their late 30's and 40's getting drunk and falling into swimming pool, and i thought that that is beginning to look very tragic. I quit after that, and didn't look back.

When I worked in an office, my hours were 9 - 5 Monday to Friday, but one time I was offered overtime to go in on Saturday morning to do some auditing. For time and a half, I agreed, and set off for work. When I walked in, I noticed the burglar alarm was switched off but thought nothing of it - maybe the last one to leave on Friday had forgotten to set it.

But no...the office manager and the CEO (both married to other people who also worked there) were at it, up against the wall. Their backs were to me, so I quickly left and after 20 minutes or so, walked back in, banging the door loudly and generally announcing my presence. Fortunately their shagathon had finished and both were dressed and chatting over a cuppa.

I don't think either of them realised I had caught them in the act and I never let on. I felt very awkward after that, when the CEO and his wife and the office manager and her husband were all working together and all pretending to be friends.

Maybe I'm just a prude but I honestly don't know how people can share a workplace with their partner or spouse and have the audacity to be having an affair with a mutual colleague! Absolute cheek of it!

ETA - I'm not saying it makes it any more acceptable if it's with someone the other person doesn't know, but to do it with a mutual colleague to me is another level of wick

Wind bands ( which are brass bands, with stuff like Clarinets, Saxophones, etc. added on).
That is so funny in a way.
You would not expect clarinet and bassoon players to be debauched bed-hoppers!

It's like the band camp from American Pie!

The famous quote from Alyson Hannigan in American Pie? Yep! It has happened!

Have to be honest, that I did take advantage of a few clarinet players more than once, but they didn't complain!

My husband was once working for a company that had a contract on the QE2 - at one point this involved a check as to where everyone was one night and not one person was in their own rooms...
I once temped for a local authority and that was a hot bed! Threesomes in cupboards, so much shenanigans between people that I’d have thought lucky if they could get a onesome!
I was once working in a little office - and we shared a floor with another husband and wife run company - I was working a little late and heard the husband pleasuring himself once his wife had left for the day - as I had to go past his office to leave I had to make noise to let him know I was there - he knew I knew - eueww!

My workplace is so dull!! There’s been the occasional inappropriate kiss at a work do but aside from that, nothing! Either that, or they’re particularly good at hiding it 😂 my industry is very male dominated so I think it’s probably the latter
