The deputy head of my education establishment was found coping off with a staff member (part of the chaplaincy team fantastically) by a security guard, who was promptly given a promotion by the security company and moved elsewhere.

Two colleagues were having it off at my old office, the female was engaged, all found out when her fiancé exposed screenshots of all their dirty messages on Facebook, was all deleted after a few minutes but the damage was done & everyone knew, she quit not long after!
I work in a female dominated NHS team (not one man) so the gossip is poor... Just your standard witching and lunch theft.

At an old job one of the PA 's in her late twenties was having it off with one of the manager's who was in his fifties. He was married she was single. The affair was an open secret. We had to go to a three day conference to York he'd made mention of the fact that his wife was coming along so she could do some sight seeing and shopping We all (not the wife) got together on the first evening for a meal and a few drinks. We'd all got a bit tiddly. At the end of the evening he asked her up to his room. She said to him what about your wife and he waved his hand up and said dont worry about that, it won't be a problem. She thought they must be in separate rooms so agreed. He said he needed to make a quick call and went into the foyer then called her thru and off they went. PA reappeared five mins later with the colour drained from her face. She said they got up to the bedroom and the wife was laying on the bed naked. PA said the wife patted the bed and said 'Don't be shy pet, I'm very generous, me. I don't mind sharing him now pop your gear off and let me have a look at you'
She never went near him again after that and three months or so down the line she left the company. I've heard much worse stories from friends about work affairs and in general debauched goings on.

My first office shin dig, straight out of college, I’d only worked there approx. 2 months and it was a leaving do for a couple that worked on the team.
Long story short, I upset the female half of the couple as she felt I was flirting with the boyfriend she was just about to spent 3 months travelling with except instead I ended up going home with the team leader who unknowingly to me had a girlfriend.. they’re married now

I don’t work in an office but I work with a lot of middle age men who are great for gossip.

One bloke had worked for the company 10+ years. He decided to go back to his home Country on his annual leave but when he was due to return he didn’t show up. He got in contact and said he had broken both his legs while on holiday and couldn’t travel home. This went on for weeks. Turns out he had been in this country on a somebody else’s passport and got busted on his return.
We worked for years with a bloke and we had no idea who he really was. We all have really extensive checks so no idea how he managed it.

loving this thread. Christmas parties ah they are missed this year.
best I can remember is finding out the man we worked with was one of those giant babies, someone else saw it on one of those channel 5 programmes and that’s how it we exposed.

My husbands work alway used to have great Christmas parties.
