I feel really sad for Phil and Maria’s children, they are carrying an awfully big mental load right now.

Between a father that is unwell and a mother that can’t cope with home life so moves out for a few days and admits on her social media platform to having thoughts of suicide, it must be very hard for them. They are clearly sensitive and anxious children so I hope they are getting a lot of support at this time too.

While mental health is complex and Maria is clearly at breaking point, I would hope a therapist would be teaching coping strategies and how to parent through the challenges, not suggesting she moves out for a while and leaves her kids and unwell husband. Something feels off.

Omfg Maria Maria, I'm sorry you've had suicidal ideations that must be horrible but Phil is alone , you've left your kids to deal with the medical side of things. God forbid anything happens to your parents whilst you stay there, where are you going to run them. Grow the fuck up and be a wife and a parent.

She went to her parents’ place.

Apparently she and her therapist decided she needed a break because she wasn’t handling life at home with the anxiety over Phil’s seizures.

Poor Phil. She's effectively abandoned him, and placed a huge burden on those children's shoulders.

Don't believe for one minute moving out can solve the problem. Phil will always have the threat of seizures over him. Being taught coping mechanisms, procedures to work through, and understanding feelings so they can be rationalized is what is needed; running away won't fix this.

When maria returns home nothing will have changed. Poor Phil, he's now reliant on taxis and others to get around. I hope those children don't have to deal with a seizure. That's adulting stuff, but the only other adult they could have trusted to deal with the situation, has run away, how scary this must be in their minds, this can be so traumatizing for them all.

well- she is the bad guy, she’s useless though so she will be doing them a favour long term.

100% not. I won’t say who they/it is but what I will say, is people are watching this page, and if you’ve self identified yourself by accident I’d probably think twice about posting much. And tbh, it’s made me rethink what and how I post. I’m all for a bit of gossip but when things go real life and people’s lives are impacted it’s just too far - both in terms of us, and the people posted about.

I’m curious how you have so much insider info on what Danni is up to.

we all know Danni and some others are active here but it has been this way for many years now (Tagitbaby) etc. we also know when it did go irl in one instance those people were removed and everyone agreed it was unacceptable.

It was really sad, for both she and Ronan, the amount they both had invested in a fantasy world. She was so fearful of his reaction to her selling one of his characters.

Maria escapes into "other realms" rather than dealing with her issues. It doesn't matter how many books you read, or how big your farm/garden becomes, they are still not dealing with the elephant in the room. Just seems Maria's idea of healing, dealing with reality she can't deal with, is escapism.....leave Phil alone, read a book, read a 100 books, hide out with family. None of these are "adulting", or dealing with that elephant.

Maria should plant a real garden. It’s hands on and very calming, it’s rewarding to grow food or flowers or whatever, and it helps you to plan for the future and find nice things in all seasons. Very healing. Girl spends way too much time online. She’d benefit from literal grass-touching.

Bladder and bowel control at this age is unattainable, and unfair on any new parents who believe this is possible
