Admittedly I haven't read all the comments but I felt that most of them were sharing about how other people handle lunches for their kids and offering up suggestions not lunchbox shaming Maria

I don’t care if she does their lunchboxes - what I found interesting is how the kids told their dad, not her. That says a lot.

What also says a lot is that she still hashtags her posts with #toddlerlife. You don’t have toddlers anymore Maria, are YOU the toddler?

As a long time (always behind by months) lurker who has finally almost caught up on the NZ threads, I just want to do a shout out to one of my fav posters here.
Always level headed and informative, and consistently exposes these influencer morons total ignorance of child safety & wellbeing.
Their posts are actually pretty educational and judgement free and if i was Melissa Dingwall or Simone Anderson I would quietly come here to try and learn from this person.
This person doesn’t talk about appearance and isn’t super snarky yet DCCD and Ernie tried to dox them this week.
That really sucked so i hope that person reads above and knows I’m talking about them- just wanna say hope you are doing ok, love your work and I’m sorry these dicks tried to intimidate you!!

I think the reason most of the usual suspects rage posts about Tattle stopped, or they haven’t said anything, is because the last thing Maria, Simone or Elle want is people coming to Tattle and seeing intelligent, educated people having funny, informative conversations… and there’s a lot of screenshots here they would like hidden as they constantly try and control the narrative. They are self aware and don’t care what they do- but hate that Tattle has receipts.

DCCD and Ernie don’t have kids and have no self awareness- so they aren’t scared to send curious people here.

Tattlelife page on r!ddit has some updated info on what’s happening in the UK and it’s very interesting!

I feel like i’ve just appeared the last 2 weeks and started writing mini novels over these threads so hope it’s not too much- I talk a LOT lol but had a bunch to say, I prefer to lurk tbh so looking forward to these threads becoming more active as this takedown nonsense fades away and people return here.

Exxxacctly it's what they sign up for! They have all made it bloody clear that they read here, you can't tell me we are bullying you when it isn't actually said to you! If you choose to read here that's on you. Totally agree with these posts. The HCDA 2015 makes it clear that doxxing, threats and online harassment can be illegal in Aotearoa when they cross the line into causing serious emotional distress. If Danni is screenshotting posts, sharing names or making accusations online, she might want to consider whether her behaviour meets those legal thresholds because serious cases can be reported to Netsafe or even the Police.

Let's be real. No one here is supporting stalking, threats or sending letters. That is not what this forum is about and the vast majority of us know where the line is. Criticising influencers who put content in the public domain is not a crime. But calling people dangerous or stalkers without evidence is defamatory and it is reckless to throw those terms around online, especially when it could cause real harm to others.

What is actually ironic is that Danni and Ellie are the ones behaving like bullies. They have the bigger platforms, the followers, and the influence, yet they are using that power to shame and intimidate people who cannot respond in the same way. That power imbalance matters, and it is exactly why their behaviour should be held to account.

Dragging Tattle NZ into this overseas court case is a reach. The legal systems are not the same and New Zealand has its own protections and thresholds. If Danni and Ellie are so concerned, maybe they should stop posting about it every day and take a proper legal route. Otherwise it just looks like intimidation to scare people into silence.

Here's the reality check: calling someone with a public platform a c*nt on an anonymous forum isn't illegal under New Zealand law. Harsh opinions about public figures don't meet the threshold for criminal harassment. Don't let the intimidation tactics work, lawful criticism is still lawful, even when it's blunt.

It's very normal for your levels to fluctuate especially if you eat a sugary or carby meal. It's normal for that rise to come a bit later or slower if you eat it with fat or protein. Maria, your address can easily be found by looking at the the companies office records. It hasn’t been mentioned here. Also if people are sending stuff to your house that is fucked.

Here’s a thought for the influencers - stop sharing your children, their names, their schools, their sports clubs, their schedules, their medical history and health concerns etc etc. Stop sharing your own houses/ location, holidays, day to day movements, medical history and health concerns, pets, marital problems, sex lives, vehicles, extended families etc etc.

Nobody forces you to share this information and when somebody can recognise you or your children on the street without ever having met you and they already know your bra size, middle name and medications then that’s a problem you’ve created for yourself.

Do I condone the more toxic behaviour? F*ck no! But people aren’t just talking about some random person who’s not seeking attention on the daily and selling themselves for fame and money.

I saw an influencer in the wild a few weeks ago at the supermarket and actually thought at the time that it’s terrible that I know all of the kids names, schools and the general area that they live and more about their lives than some of the people in my life.

I would never say anything to them, but crazy if a follower came up to them and talked to the person and kids like they knew them. The whole thing just makes me sad for the kids.

The children will have been trying to tell her for ages; their lunches are not suitable.
Maria will have chosen not to listen. She will have told them she makes them, be grateful.
It's all about control, she being in charge. Funny how she "threatened them" with the old, speak to me like that and you can make your own.....they might like to do that, call her bluff.

Now she's saying the children need to be more involved-help with the shopping, food and lunch prep. That won't last long. Maria will not be able to cope with they having valid opinions. That status quo will remain, and Maria will continue to be hurt, seek validation from strangers, whilst her children are "the voices she chooses to ignore"

Maria is now being hit with a landslide of (sensible, well-reasoned) responses almost entirely reflecting that her 'children' (teens) should be making their own lunches. Just as predictably, she's now getting upset about this (veiled in amusement, but it's definitely rage).

I predict this is just the start of the Maria vs the rest of the family battle. It can only escalate from here. Today it's lunches...what will it be next?
