There’s also something wrong with you that you feel like it’s normal to film yourself talking to a screen and upload it for anyone and everyone to see.
There’s something wrong with you that you create businesses (or MLM “businesses” lol) and make money off your followers.
There’s something wrong with you that you fake liking a product just because you’ve been given it for free and want more freebies.
There’s something wrong with you that you feel comfortable enough to share your personal lives with literal strangers.
There’s something wrong with you that you feel comfortable uploading pictures and videos of your children for literally ANYONE to see and do what they like with it.

Haha tell me you read the nz influencer #66 summary without telling me Danni. I intentionally finished the post with the line of you being a kept woman, because that exactly what you are. Just as housewives used to spend their days volunteering in the community and having little charity committees they belonged to to fill their time, you get to swan around doing whatever y interests you in the moment, and drop it as soon as it gets too hard or you lose interest.

I’ve only been following you through conversation on this group for less than a year, and already I’ve heard about you cycling through:

- Speech and Language Therapy (too hard? Not fun enough?)
- Working in a clothing store (too hard? Not fun enough?)
- Being a bog standard influencer (but then you couldn’t keep your advertisers happy because you were too interested in being “authentically yourself”, read, belligerent and self-absorbed)
- Being a wedding day social media/video curator…literally didn’t see a thing come of that
- Being a creative studio for social media ads that brands can use for themselves…clearly hasn’t worked out too well
- Being a travel agent/friend for hire for single/childfree people who don’t have friends they want to go on holidays with
- Being your own social media management company (did your company get sick of the no work that your following was bringing in?)
- Being a mid-century design house Reno influencer account (painting stuff isn’t really that riveting)
- Running events for the “others”….not exactly the most appealing name to try to get your fans to self-describe as

None of these little side gigs have got off the ground, or made anywhere near enough money for you to have actually supported yourself financially. So yes. You are in a position of extreme privilege, and yet you make yourself out to be the one who is “put upon” or hard done by because apparently some people expect you to have children.

I have theories on this Makaia Carr thing.

Number one:
At the time, Unfluencer got found out because she posted the pictures to tattle as well as her stories (rookie ), and one of her frienemies forwarded them to Simone.
So does that frienemy read in here and has forwarded photos to Makaia too? Or maybe did she forward them at the time and Makaia is only just acting on it now?

Number two:
Makaia reads in here (as they all do) and has been reading the Simone thread because she loves seeing the train wreck (as you would).
Makaia knew that Unfluencer has posted about her many times, so when she saw Simone dox her she took the opportunity to screenshot the pictures and sit on it until she had had enough.

I think the whole “does anyone know this person” by Makaia was an attempt to drum up more information. She already knew who she was. She just wanted more.

Chch high school chat is so funny because it means literally zero to the rest of the country we’re all like “Danni went to Kate Middleton Hermione Granger High School? Ok.”

(This is not mocking anyone for being interested in the schools influencers went to, I totally get it! I laugh all the time knowing Simone Anderson went to an expensive Auckland girls school and came out unable to use the correct “there/they’re/their” whereas my Auckland education was free and I know not to mix bleach and vinegar in the washing machine .)

St Margaret's had to close the other day because there was scabies in the boarding house.
Parents had to come and collect their kids from all over the South Island for the weekend, stay in hotels etc.
