It's just such a none story that keeps being re hashed 'Nigel takes things very seriously and gets upset if anything goes wrong'

He actually admitted on TV that he was so mad at himself for going wrong in Blackpool (not mad at others of course) he felt he had let the side down, he did take it all seriously and i do think he would want produce a perfect routine but the way that those things have been twisted into negatives is just plan stupid (its not like he attacked anyone, or belittled people etc) his biggest crime was expecting to much of himself and wanting perfection..... So

I think those who work on the SCD and go running off to journalists selling stories are the real problem, there has certainly been a lot of them chatting shit about the contestants this year id be more concerned about that tbh

I know, it's just annoying. You're right the people in SCD blabbing are to blame. I also I am a perfectionist too, and can have the ump with myself. It's like I have Gordon Ramsay in my head with a death metal band playing behind him.

I don't think I've seen mention on this thread of Nigel being in the series Hotel Babylon? He joined in series 4 I believe. Aside from his utter gorgeousness, it was a brilliant watch in earlier series with Tamzin Outhwaite, Max Beesley and Dexter Fletcher. I might dig out my dvd box sets and rewatch.

I've never seen it but think you can buy the season on Prime. Is it worth it? ie. Is his character a bucket of filth like Rickman was?

Seeing through adult eyes the way Johnny Allen moved is weirdly distressing now like you speak to the wrong person the wrong way ....... Also seeing Chrissie getting to return to EE soon just makes it even harder that we never get to have Dennis back in the mix with her and Shazza

Lots of us have either met him in real life, or know people who have worked with him or have even dated him, and then you look at all the lovely things co -stars over the years always say about him too so i think for me personally i go off what they say from really knowing him than some of the crap that's get written in the mail regarding the strictly stars year on year.

If you like him i wouldn't let it cloud your enjoyment kinda thing

Loved him since EE, love Casualty and Strictly. Though I am not sure if he could convince me to meditate, I tried it in Compassion therapy and I ended up thinking even more.

Though I would love to make him a homemade card.

Well it's been a while just thought I'd check in to see if anyone had any updates on anything he might have coming up on TV
I saw recently he'd been coaching young actors and we caught the Smith and Jones Christmas special last month and Nigel was playing the son in it such a treat as I'd never seen it before .

I honestly can't remember but I found it really great to watch besides feasting your eyes on him would be a treat in itself. When I bought the dvds they were dead cheap at the time, maybe ten years ago?
