Yes yes yes I totally agree. I know someone who got into this world very shortly after a close family member died. 100% preying on the vulnerableI don’t get it either but I think it’s a way of preying on people with body issues.
A long time ago, a friend of mine was vulnerable after a marriage breakup. Started going to the gym and a PT. Long story short, PT convinced her to prep for a “show” and a photoshoot. What I gleaned from her experience was that it was purely a money maker for the PT and their associates. My friend ended up spending a fortune (they did not have) on classes, protein and supplements to prep. Then came the photoshoot, hair dresser, MUA, photographer - all of whom associates of the PT. The “bikini” for the show was £££. The show itself was another moneymaker for the local gyms and all their MUA and hairdresser associates. The whole thing reeks of preying on the vulnerable to me. Granted, it attracts narcissists too but I believe most are more or less groomed into thinking this look is what they have to achieve - all whilst dipped in 3 layers of Ronseal

Yes I've seen her. She looked like she was doing good for a while but she's lost alot off weight & looking dishevelled lately. Hope she's not on a bad path again. I actually found her 1 night in town in a state & brought her home in my taxi to make sure she was safe. I tried helping her out off the back seat & clocked her head... Very hard!! .. Off the top off the car roof getting out & she hit the deck

I saw her in Belfast a few times when her kids were young, she looked absolutely knackered and was struggling to manage on the bus by herself and just generally seemed fed up and like she didn’t want to be there. I was a teen myself at the time who’d grown up watching this glamorous woman on TV with her rich fiancée and thinking that getting a bus because she presumably couldn’t afford to drive/taxi seemed to be a huge fall from grace and made a mental note to never rely on a rich hubby (I love getting the bus though don’t get me wrong

she got arrested for trying to break into his house, ended up living in her mums in New Lodge, sat in corporation Street bru alot off times when it was open & had nothing. Apparently she's a total witch so the neighbours were loving it. I remember going into cafe vaudeville on a Saturday night & she & a group off men used to walk past the queue & in. Good for her but it was the entitled, smug look on her face that done it for me. Never had any girls with her & always ended up a mess. She doesn't give off nice vibes at all!I think that’s when I saw her on her bus trips, when she was living with her mum. It’s coming back to me now lol. She did a sob story at the the time about how she was on benefits (I can’t find it). seems like she fell in love with the fantasy of this guy who was very wealthy and hoped that would have her set for life. A few months into their dating she was talking in the papers about the kind of wedding she wanted and BAME dropping being at Peter Andre and Katie Price’s wedding (lol). But in reality it sounds like a very tumultuous relationship, and trapping the guy with two kids didn’t set her up for life in the way she hoped, and didn’t make him want to stay.
I feel bad for her even if she hasn’t got the nicest rep. That’s a hard lesson to learn. Sounds like she’s still starving and Botoxing herself and going out on the lash in the hopes of bagging a wealthy hubby, ~15 years later.
