yep I’ve heard this is common.If the baby was removed as soon as it was born and deemed fit to leave hospital there will have been a pre birth risk assessment carried out by SS including input from GP, midwife etc. These things are never done lightly and I’d say she’ll never get the baby back. She’ll probably keep having kids in the Hope she’ll eventually be allowed to keep one. I’ve seen it a couple of times

quite sad really. It’s hard, I try not to judge women who do this. I try and sympathise with the pain of having a kid removed from you. But there’s something quite cruel about having a baby to fill in the gap, to fulfill your own needs, when you know there’s a huge risk it’ll end up in the care system.
