Same thing happened to me in Belfast during the summer in broad daylight. With hindsight I could’ve put my 2.5 year old & the shopping in the car then gone back to the pay machine but at the time I was so WTF is going on & just fed the meter & moved as quick as I could. Also still not convinced I’d want to put her in the car & leave her unattended so not calling her out on that - it’s genuinely so shocking when it happened I was so taken backAwful.
