Nhs test and trace app

So...earlier on today I got a notification to self isolate for 9 days from test and trace. Ok no problem.

But...I've dropped my phone down the toilet tonight and had to restore my back up data and its now not showing in the app I took a screenshot to send to work of the original isolation message but I now don't have the message to isolate. Obviously I will do the right thing and isolate but I'm stressing about how I will prove it to my employer with the data gone. Help!

It might be worth telling your employer the app told you to isolate but you have since had to restore your phone and have lost that info. You could then try to get a covid test which will determine whether you have it or not. You could contact 111 and explain and they might be able to sort something for you.

ETA - your employer will obviously just have to understand that you'll need to be off isolating until your results come in.

Yep it flashes up as a notification. Thankfully they've been OK about it as I have the screenshot
