I bought a Marks and Spencer ortho mattress and it’s great - firm, lots of back support, had it almost 3 years and no sagging etc. What of Simba? I need a proper mattress too and they say Simbas are "medium" but I like a firm mattress.
I tend to find that you get what you pay for with longevity in a mattress. It is a minefield though and hard to choose just looking online. You’ll see some great reviews for a product but then I’d single in on the bad ones!I haven't got loads of money, just want a medium firm mattress!
Thank you, I think trialing one would be a good call!! I remember buying a memory foam topper years ago, and yes, the smell was awful!!!!I tend to find that you get what you pay for with longevity in a mattress. if you can trial something that makes a lot of sense. One thing worth noting is that many mattresses arrive with a funky smell (because of how they’re treated with chemicals) so worth airing it before you use it if you can.
