Need a new mattress!

Emma mattress is definitely medium-firm.

Most of the mattress in a box companies offer so many nights money back guarantee. It's great imo because you really need to sleep on a mattress to know if it suits you. Also with Emma, if after sleeping on it you find it too soft or too hard, you can email them and they'll send you a free layer of foam to add to the mattress to make it harder or softer. I went with them because, along with the 200 night trial, it felt the most risk free option.

I tend to find that you get what you pay for with longevity in a mattress. It is a minefield though and hard to choose just looking online. You’ll see some great reviews for a product but then I’d single in on the bad ones!

if you can trial something that makes a lot of sense. One thing worth noting is that many mattresses arrive with a funky smell (because of how they’re treated with chemicals) so worth airing it before you use it if you can.

I bought an Emma about a month ago. It's fine but it's nothing spectacular, IMO. It's rated medium-firm but I find it quite firm. I got 50% off so I'm happy enough with it but if I had paid full price I think I'd probably send it back. You've 200 nights trial though so you've nothing to lose by trying it!

What of Simba? I need a proper mattress too and they say Simbas are "medium" but I like a firm mattress.

I bought a Marks and Spencer ortho mattress and it’s great - firm, lots of back support, had it almost 3 years and no sagging etc.

Thank you, I think trialing one would be a good call!! I remember buying a memory foam topper years ago, and yes, the smell was awful!!!!

No some are uI size too. Ours is. I got our kids bunks from Argos and mattress IKEA

My mattress is awful, sinks really bad, creaks as well, was brought from Argos a few years ago, I really need to change it, have been looking on line, is Emma a good one?
