what do we think of her? She used to really bug me with her monotone voice and resting witch face and acting like she invented retinoids, but I think as times gone on I’ve warmed to her a bit. She’s also pursuing an autism diagnosis now.

She is a complete grifter. Here’s a post from Reddit which explains everything you need to know about her. Its from a year ago for reference.

“I posted a few days ago about Tiktok "skinfluencers" and how annoying and deceiving they can be. I've since been made aware that Tiktok creator Natalie O'Neill currently has a link on her socials in which she charges you approx $50USD for a "guide to retinoids".

Nowhere in this link does she state that she's not a doctor and is just someone that has a (self-admitted) interest in skincare because she watched Dr. Dray etc during the pandemic lockdowns.

I am absolutely stunned that she has the nerve to do this and just wanted to make more people aware.”

i’m so glad there’s a thread for her!!

i generally do like watching her but she’s annoying me more and more. she says everything in such a matter-of-fact way when she’s not qualified at all and yet feels comfortable having viewers PAY for her recommendations.

instead of going down the route of getting qualified she’s skipped straight ahead to making her own skincare line which people will blindly buy into.

it’s also pissing me off that’s she’s now posting so much financial advice, when again she’s completely unqualified to do so and makes me wonder how she’s planning to capitalise off that too.

The financial advice is a joke! A short of hers popped up on youtube where she talked about 'how to save 30k' - then mentioned how she worked her way up to 75,000 - 90,000 + pounds a year, within 5 years!! Like, good for her, she clearly chose a lucrative career and is/was good at it. But it's a bit exploitative to offer savings advice when she was earning over double the median UK salary. When your advice will essentially boil down to 'earn lots of money' then it's not very useful savings advice. It would be a lot easier for the average person to save if they had that kind of spare cash.

So now she has her official autism diagnosis I guess she will be doing a lot of content about being autistic too.

I’m unsure how to feel about her. I did take some of the advice re. skin care and tbf it was good advice for me personally. But I’m a bit iffy about the way she’s suddenly branched out into financial advice because I feel as though qualified “experts” should be the ones to do that.

I quite like her. I like that she absolutely does not go in for all the ott gushing and squealing like so many other influencers. Not even the slightest bit surprised she got an autism diagnosis.
