I suppose telling his ‘slaves’ that he developed a foot fetish due to being a victim of SA doesn’t really fit with the superior Arab image. How did people realise he was stealing tweets from black women? I always assumed he came up with it by himself because he came across well spoken in his videos.

A lot of the commentary from black women online, or black youtubers were mysteriously all his opinions. He would even use the same terms and phrases. I don't think he actually cared that his content stealing was obvious, because he has a bigger following so a few people complaining about it didn't change anything. Also, some tea stories or 'breaking news' topics were copied. He didn't really do his own research etc. Obviously everyone copies eachother, but he really didn't have original ideas. No wonder why despite him not being black, he knew so much about the culture.

I wish he would talk about his own culture and experiences. But you would never catch him talking about being an Asian man in the UK, or gay. He's always talking about how black women feel. You gotta question why he's so comfortable talking about for black people.

It's not even literal stolen content, but also general talking points. Even his whole defence of the undesirable black girl, that's not something even many black men have picked up on, let alone someone of a different race and gender.

Also there were a few times he'd tweet something or state an opinion in a video, then his view would suddenly shift when he picked up how black twitter felt about it.

There are some things that you'll just *get* if you're black, and Murad seemed to understand so people fell for it.

You might of heard about SoniaxFyza that joint account? two Pakistani girls from Birmingham who then moved to Dubai, pretended to be Arab even to this day even though everyone knows the truth they are still going with this narrative. Anyway one of them ended up doxxing a random innocent girl and said the most vile racist things and got cancelled for it, lost all of their big sponsorships ect. Mind you she has said racist things about South Asians, Arabs, Black people ect. Anyway 4 months later she returns to socials and posting like normal after a half assed apology, I don't think brands are sponsoring her though since she lost that.

It really makes me think that if she can come out of this, Murad will definitely slowly come back and the sad truth is he will still have SOME support on Youtube for those who weren't personally offended by what he's done and said. Its just the sad reality.

I just cant imagine him going forward doing interviews and getting sponsorships, no one will want to be seen with him or work with him, he's bad press. So truly idk what his content is gonna be but it isn't looking good. If anything he might just go back to the sex work considering the truth is out and what is truly stopping him now? but lets see

No one can stop him from coming back. The question is will people be so stupid to keep following him, not to mention pay for his content...

I don't doubt that he'll attempt a comeback but I think the unique thing about him compared to most people who get cancelled is the fact he made himself an advocate, and almost an activist. You just can't create content about how the media treats black and people of colour knowing you're contributing to their setbacks in private.

And not to mention, a good place for him to start would be to admit that it is him using slurs in the captions and videos. He can't just keep pretending.

What I meant was we can’t know he isn’t Arab, can we? - people were saying he doesn’t look it. Is there anything that confirms his heritage? His behaviour is horrific regardless but I have a bit of an issue with people thinking they can tell where someone is from by looking. As others on the thread have said, some people of dual heritage can look vastly different from siblings.

As a North African, this man looks and sounds like a British south Asian Pakistani. Some Pakistanis like cosplaying as Arab or Persian because of an inferiority complex. Ironically, Arabs are incredibly racist towards South Asians and consider them subhuman, hence why so many Indian and Pakistani workers are treated so poorly in the gulf Arab states. I always found it suspicious that he would refer to himself as Arab, without being specific to the country he’s from. The Arab world is huge and incredibly diverse, calling yourself ‘Arab’ and nothing else is quite vague. It’s the equivalent of someone calling them self European or Asian, without specifying the exact country they’re from.

yes, he is a liar. They were written by him, just like they were said physically by his mouth with conviction in the videos.

I don't think many, if any, people in the entertainment industry have real friends. They are all just looking to use one another for clout and/or profit.
For me, he always had this Grima Wormtongue energy about him, always trying to profit from other people's drama/misfortune. If anyone deserved this, it's people like him. My guess is this is even more apparent in person, so people probably stick around only to get what they want from him and vice versa.
