Just browsing this brand, I’ve never heard of it before. Their products look really nice.I've started using temple spa its worked really well on my combination skin.
I'm not a skin expert but I have worked in dermatology as a nurse. I would suggest an very mild exfoliator/facial scrub on the spotty bits, and have a look at Revolution's range of skin care products. I use their overnight hydrating mask once a week or so. They also do a good serum for problem skin. I don't work for them, other skin care brands are availableHi guys, just wanted to jump on this thread for a little bit of advice if anybody can offer it please.
So I just wanna preface this by saying I'm a complete skincare dummy, I've pretty much always had clear/low maintenance skin - I'd say "normal" occasionally dry type, if that's a thing... and any old soap and water followed by a moisturiser always did the job but after having my daughter I've been having a bit of trouble with hormonal acne, it didn't actually start until after her birth & it seems to be prolonged by still breastfeeding (20m postpartum). It's mostly clogged pores that look wide (does that make sense?), under skin bumps and some large white heads; mainly its my face but some on my thighs and occasionally my back too ...I've tried a few salicylic soaps but they seem to only work for the first one or two uses and then my skin is back to being bumpy. It's been really getting me down lately and, I know it sounds a bit silly but, I'm a little embarrassed to go to my GP about it (especially as I feel like it's the last priority for the NHS atm). I had a smear recently and that was all clear so I know it's not an issue in that respect. I'm 29 if that's important ...not sure everything I've included is useful or if I've missed anything that might be, sorry!
The omega rich cleansing oil is brill, takes off all your makeup and leaves your skin feeling really clean but not stripped xxDoes anyone use Elemis. I’m looking for a cleanser but they have so much in their range. I was given a voucher so need to use it
Oh wow I didn’t even know bare minerals made skincare - I used to use their powder foundation and loved it! Will need to give it a tryMy cousin grew up in Miami and we're both olive skinned but she had some pretty bad sun damage on her face at a young age. She started working for Bare Minerals in her 30s so used all the products and her skin completely changed. The brown spots are now all gone. I recently wanted to switch up my skin care whilst in lockdown (gutted about Liz Earle!!) and bough some samples of Bare Minerals in the Debenhams sale and I am hooked. In two weeks, the cleanser and moisturiser have completely changed the texture of my skin. It's like a little baby's! I've now bought their foundation and powder and will probably purchase the entire line of skin care. Super impressed.
Have you tried using a primer? One with silicone, I think Benefit do one for pores, can really help.Atm my skin isn’t too bad but when I put make up on it seems to sit ‘on’ the skin and is visible in the pores. Any idea how I can help this please.
I can’t recommend beauty pie products enough. Almost everything I’ve tried I will continue to be purchase. I agree the super healthy skin cleanser and moisturiser are fabulous. My skin has never looked better.I have skin like yours and I like the Beauty Pie Super Healthy Skin moisturiser. Even with the monthly subscription fee, it works out far cheaper than the luxury creams I used to buy, although people regularly sell untouched pots on Ebay for about £25 so you could just do that.
thank you so much!! Much love xxJust looked online and it’s says unavailable.. really hope it will come back. I’ve attached a pic in case you get chance to go to a boots store.
really? Would love to buy it, but can’t find it! Could you possibly link it? XxI have super dry skin, I always use aveeno body moisturiser, but bought the boots oat cream dupe and it’s just as good for around half the price!
