Being in a court of law, trying a man for abusing children... I guess that's only fun of the pedalo provides a banging soundtrack.

If you're wondering how children wound up in bed with MJ, and where were their parents, how could they let this happen?

Legally, no; a celebrity should not have a jury composed of people who like them. The goal of a jury trial is to provide an impartial trier of fact, and having a jury packed with fans would create an inherent bias that undermines the core principles of the justice system

They asked potential jurors if they were fans and many either said they weren't or they could be impartial which clearly wasn't true. It happens more than people realise. Everybody wanted a part of the trial, even non fans so it's not a surprise his actual fans were willing to lie so they could be close to him even with what it was.

BIB - There is a well known UK singer who has had a lot of accusations thrown at him over the years and even had his home raided but they found nothing. He played the victim and many believed he was innocent but the rumour is after he got his fingers burnt years ago, he stopped shitting in his back yard and only did it in places he knew he could get away with it...countries where there were lots of poor people who he could throw money at to turn the other way. A few people have come forward saying he abused them when they were kids but it was ignored and anytime something turned up online, it was quickly deleted because he was part of a wider circle.

Another reason celebrity worship she be scorned by society. People are way too willing to protect the stars they love out of some warped and misplaced loyalties. It happens at all levels of criminal investigation, prosection, and even in family services departments. The wrong fan gets hold of a case and purposefully lets a monster off as easily as they can.

Finally saw Michael, which is a fantastic film and really made me remember how exciting and wonderful and sweet his public persona was. I wound up feeling really angry at him, because he was someone truly special and had to go ruin it all by being a predator.

And yes, I know the whole thing's a puff piece to begin with, but damn I remember watching some of that stuff when it happened and being that excited. The Grammies moonwalk moment for instance, hell I remember talking about that on the playground afterwards!

Shame it all went down the way it did.

If, and this is massive bleeping if I dont for a second believe, he was innocent hes STILL guilty of creating confusing barriers and boundaries for children. Even if he didnt commit sexual abuse, those children would have a warped view of what is acceptable in regards to sharing space with a grown adult you arent related to. Making them susceptible to (further) abuse from others.

I think he was a massive pos though and believe if he was alive today I actually think he'd have less defenders.

What really annoys me is she was always portrayed as the victim, hamming it up in interviews like when said 'There were three of us in the marriage' when she hereself was the other woman to several married men when married to Charles and after they divorced with a few wives/girlfriends calling her out on it. Dodi also had a girlfriend when she got with him, something a lot of people forget as well as the fact that she was giving interviews hinting about marriage when even friends said it was for attention and would have got bored with him pretty soon and was only using him to piss off people. There is no denying she did do a lot of good things but there are still far too many people who have rose tinted glasses where she is concerned, same as with Michael.
