I've been saying this about Vets for years! Probably about the time they charged me £85.00 for a bottle of eye drops

Since a lot of the independent practices have been bought out by corporate chains it's got horrendous.

I get why the independents sell up, the owning vet is retirement planning, which is fine. But the corporates are rinsing customers.

I wish there was a whole thread we could discuss this on! Vet prices make me ill. I’m not taking away from their many, many years of study and their skills etc, but their prices are extortionate.
