Watched the documentary, really sad. I think of him often. It's so sad that someone who brought so much joy to so many, was so unhappy within himself.
There was a lot of criticism after he died, having published his book and claiming to be sober, but I don't believe he was lying or pretending to be sober when he wasn't. I think he just couldn't stay on the wagon. He cleaned up quite a few times, but sadly just couldn't stay clean. Addiction is complex and you're not just cured one day and that's it, it's a lifelong effort.

What people don't realise is that your brain chemicals get altered when you start messing around with drugs and it's impossible for that ever to be restored. Add on prescription meds like anti depressants and he was doomed, the poor sod. I'm quite honestly amazed he got into his 50s given his past.
I finally watched a few episodes on a plane journey. It’s taken me this long. A few tears were shed in the intro for sure!

I still can't watch, I'm sure after a few tears I'll be laughing again, but I just can't bring myself to do it. Just knowing he's gone breaks me. I'm the same age as them & they were a really enjoyable part of my life for what feels like a long time, especially when I've probably rewatched from the start at least 3 times. Bloody hell, it's just so sad
We watch it every night and the great thing is he's frozen in time isn't he the entire show and you can restart it over again

I completely missed his passing anniversary yesterday. The years are going by so quick man
Guys you should watch friends it's like a time capsule honestly we are on season 9 and it's like a warm hug it's so lovely
He is probably the celebrity I’m saddest about dying. I have watched Friends for over 30 years and Chandler was always my favourite. It’s like he’s written into the fabric of my life!

Oh Matty Perry. My heart still breaks for him. I still watch Friends. Its like a warm hug. He'll never know how many hard days he got me through. Friends was my comfort show at uni when I was homesick. It was there through everything.
It's a timecapsule watch over again and the thing is the later the series goes the more he is in it

The Ketamine Queen doc was a bit weird. It was like the 'journalist' just wandered around LA wasting time. Also the way she narrated was pretty irritating.
I had to switch off, only lasted 15 mins!
