'Manifesting'

I follow a MLM Hun on instagram. She hasn't got 10k followers so I can't share her name on here. She goes on and on about manifesting and is even producing a manifesting workshop for her followers. She's always going on about how 'money is only energy', and claims that she manifested the sexes of her kids, and that she manifests her holidays, and luxury lifestyle. The funny thing is, she is actually married to a man who is incredibly rich, from a very rich family that have a successful business, so the money is already there, she hasn't 'manifested' anything, and said money pays for the luxury lifestyle, and the holidays, and the private school fees etc etc.

Does anyone actually believe in manifesting, or is it just an of the moment thing for influencers to say? Virtually all of the ones I follow that go on about manifesting have rich husbands!

I am hesitant to say either way but I do think some things are a self fulfilling prophecy. It’s a bit like horoscopes. If it says you’re going to have good news, youre now looking out for good news. I’m not saying it doesn’t work, in the same way I would never say god/allah/Buddha/whomever wasn’t real and I am a believer in whatever helps you in life is your business providing it’s not harming anyone.
That said, I think some people just jump on a bandwagon. Manifestations and crystals are the in thing atm. There’s one influencer who I watch commentary videos on and she mentioned manifestation and god in the same sentence. As far as I’m aware, the bible would say manifestation is ideology and sinful. Hope that makes sense 😂😂
