So, I think I need help. I am 33 years old and I was diagnosed with an UAT when I was 11. Over the years I have put weight on, taken it off ect ect. This time round I have no idea what is happening. for about 5/6 years I was between 13 & 15 stone BUT since Oct 2019 I started to get bigger. nothing changed in my eating habits and now I am 17 and a half stone!!!! All month long I have been having wholemeal bread and lighter than light spread for breakfast with skimmed milk and spenda in any tea & coffee. Take green tea too and for dinner its chicken rice and veg 6 days a week, I allow myself one day off but even then I am not going overboard and eating everything in sight.
I am being tested for polycystic ovaries syndrome (I had one removed when I was 15) and my periods are all over the place. I bleed for weeks on end and its heavy every day and night. nothing works to ease it off, the docs have tried 3 diff meds and still nothing helps. I am also booked in for a hysteroscopy in the next 12 weeks but is this all linked and contributing to me not loosing weight but putting more on?
on average I do around 5 - 6 K a day and if I am not at work then I am never sat on the sofa, I always have something to do around the house with cleaning ect and we go for walks at the weekend
I am honestly at the end of my tether now and I am not sure what I can do. I feel so down all the time with the weight and periods!! Can anyone offer any advice?
