I really can't see her taking a minimum-wage menial job in a supermarket or cafe, with no superstar social media element, working anti-social hours stacking shelves or scrubbing floors. She would deem it "unsuitable" (ie beneath her), in the same manner she declared Leeds an unsuitable place to start her career, saying only London or Manchester would be up to her requirements in the UK.

To be fair she does have a bachelors degree so surely there should be options in relation to her degree?

What about insurance though? Wouldn‘t that be also hard to get for such a short time? And also for an older car?

Well it's all good news (from today's vlog). Her job hours are being increased from two to three days a week from May. She's started filming discretely from her office. She's still retained by her UK-based social media company.

The apartment move is in the pipeline, with her staying with "friends" during the short gap between tenancies. The new one is in the same area.

Sid makes fleeting cameo appearances. He paid for their sauna and ice bath "date" and it was his idea. I do wonder if he has met an Oz boyfriend, which would explain his frequent absence.

Lydia will be ready to move on to another country when her work visa expires. She should be able to live and work in any EU state, thanks to her dual-nationality. I wonder if mummy taught her Lithuanian. Are they on a 12-month working holiday visa?

Her social life does seem rather sad and empty, but she has made connections and may make friends with her new colleagues.

I don't think either of them struggle for money. Certainly Lydia's family are more than comfortable and she's making good money herself off YouTube. Sid gives off wealthy family vibes to me.

Plus they won’t have spent as much this year at uni due to not being able to go out as often

It will be interesting to see how they get to know local people and other ex-pats/ graduates passing through. Perhaps they will go on free guided tourist walks and join Meet-Up groups. They also have to plan their visits to other parts of Germany. Three months will fly by.

Perhaps Lydia is paying the majority of it? To afford her lifestyle right now she must be very well off.

The trip in Australia is gifted…. So all they’ve had to put for is flights but even then, to save up over a whole year, don’t forget They both would have had their student loans over lockdown I dunno about him but Lydia makes a shit load off her paid ADs!

Remember Sid as a year below Lydia though, so not so much the student loan thing.

With her life abroad and the announcement of her book, I take this back . She's just like the rest of them lmao. Eve Cornwell is the only decent one from that clan; she got an actual job, was transparent regarding her career change and isn't milking it from social media

I think someone on this thread called the book a while ago. It's what all the study tubers do when they run out of study.

Eve's current job is somewhat interesting for a law graduate though. Seems to involve a lot of doing sweet FA. Probably gets paid very well for it though hence has dropped the social media.

Ha ha, she takes herself far too seriously to joke that she is Goody Two Shoes. She was born middle-aged and vanilla. She doesn't get the excitement and freedom of youth and young adulthood. She shows more maturity than some of my middle-aged friends, who still live life to the full - just like students.
