Just seen an article on the Daily Mail with her spreading some racist misinformation about Corona.

I do wonder how she’s managed to foster this image of her being intelligent when she’s a thick Tory bigot who can scarcely spell? Every slide of her insta story has spelling mistakes...

To be fair to her it’s the Daily Mail....they took what she said a little out of context. She was asking why the Chinese government allowed the Wet Markets to continue when they spread disease and that they should be held accountable. It’s a fair point since they’ve caused animal to human disease spread before

I think Luisa is brilliant, and her Mum is fab. Please don't get me started on LF5 though. How on earth those two were ever friends puzzles me. They seem so opposite. And mumma hilda. Doesn't everyone want a mum like that? What a wonderful set up too, Mum and Dad living there, she and her husband Andrew are clearly in love, she is as fit as a flea, super attractive and has three gorgeous girls (and the best podcast out there). She's living the best life and good on her.

I am probably in the wrong thread for this but I actually really like Luisa. Her Real Housewives lifestyle is fun to watch and I like how extra and sassy she is. She is opinionated and does not shy away from saying what a lot of people think but are too scared to say.

She probably did marry for the money but you can certainly say that about a lot of people. It doesn’t make her the devil!

She's giving the furlough money to charity? I understand the intention but can she do that? We're c £100b in debt from the last 3 months, and she won't give it back? Did she say what proof there would be or what charity it would go to?

FWIW I was actually in the minority here and argued she had every right to furlough her staff. They had the right to and the government scheme was there to support employers irrespective of affordability on their part. Question is though - would the Collins have continued to pay them throughout the pandemic without it...

Yes, she was ranting about the Katie Hopkins saga where she stated before her Twitter ban that she would not be helping to feed other people’s kids. Luisa started to say how she could never sit back and watch any kid starve and that as she has so much food, she tried to give it to food banks but they wouldn’t take it. Anna was taken aback by this and immediately explained that it was easy to donate food and that they also collect as she had just donated recently. Realising (in my opinion) that she had been caught out, Luisa then proceeds to reverse her statement and say ‘ Oh, donating food isn’t hard, donating money is a problem as I tried to give the money from furloughing our staff!’
She knows her reputation as the normally braggy rich outspoken women is not going down well, especially in these hard times.
She made a huge mistake bragging on the POD a few weeks ago about how she is getting a private jet to have a holiday. She should have listened to her husband’s advice and kept it private but she just can’t help herself to brag. As she said ‘She has been waiting her whole life for this moment!’....how pathetically sad.
Also the constant moaning at how hard lockdown was whilst posting on SM her extravagant lifestyle ie daily horse riding, swimming in her pool, hiring of chefs and huge inflatables for her kids and constant bragging of Net a Porter orders blah blah blah
Luisa is a snob, fuelled by money, material matter and status. I’m afraid this virus has outed the so called celebrities to show their real narcissistic egos and the general public are just not interested anymore.

TAKE NOTE ANNA AND IMO! You are both very intelligent and talented but I fear you will get your careers ruined by this unrelatable snob, it’s a ticking time bomb.

I really like Luisa, big fan and listen to her podcast religiously, however there's a lot in the press at the minute with Victoria Beckham furloughing her staff despite VB's multi million pound empire and Luisa has mentioned that she's also had to furlough her 2x staff members (housekeeper and nanny). Anyone else think this is a bit contradicting especially as she preaches so much how she pays to go private rather than use the NHS because she can afford to? no hate... just seems a bit odd?

Is anyone else getting really sick of the pod? I listen to the pod mainly to hear topical discussions and gal's chat/stories shared by listeners, but Luisa IMO is given too much air time blethering on about garbage! I also feel like there's bad vibes between Imo and Lu, and I feel so sorry on Anna, she always minimizes her achievements such as referring to her house as a granny house, and referring to her Life Coach title in a mock kind of voice. It's almost as if she feels inferior to Luisa when IMO she is way more superior on many levels! I hadn't even heard of Anna before the pod, I tuned in because of Luisa however I'm warming to Anna much more now. I do still like Luisa although I feel like I've seen a different side to her since they left loose lips. I admire her for not putting her kids on social media also.

I think she’s on the way out. She’s lost her spark recently. She doesn’t care about her Instagram followers, so her page will start to rapidly lose those followers. Her engagement and ads will soon dry up after that. The ‘pod’ isn’t even interesting anymore. I know we are in a pandemic but other podcasts are still managing to keep up (I highly recommend the podcast Lockdown Parenting Hell for any other parents on here, it’s BRILLIANT).
Luisa and Anna recently have been sounding more and more like spoilt, privileged white women with no education and no clue about the rest of the world. They sit in their tiny lives and preach to others about cyclists, parenting, vaginas and thermomixes, but have no interest in or capacity for learning about the wider issues in the world. They think that because they know a black person (Anna) or because their ex-husband has a ‘Jew-fro’ (Luisa’s actual words on the pod this week - HOW did Imo let that get into the final edit?) then they are clued up on black lives matter. I despair and I hope that they aren’t seen as role models for young people.
Rant over, I feel better!

I don’t get where every one says she’s a successful businesswoman from ? She sold cupcakes and her money did not come from that. You got to sell a lot of cupcakes and she wasn’t selling them in London. It came from the being a z lister celebrity. She realised if she had a big mouth and is over opinated she would be in the limelight. As she was average looking and used her great body at the time to be places. She was happy to go on big brother as she wanted to stay relevant in the media. She made friends with Sam as clearly she was more connected in the show biz world. This business woman idea is all made up. She made her money from the media nothing else. Her plan was to clearly marry someone rich and I think she was shocked how big she even made it. Her wealth now is from her marriage nothing else.
She’s got what she wanted so fair play. Her success is aligning herself to be where she is now. Plus she loves her new life as she doesn’t have to do anything but flaunt it. As she loves any sort of attention.

I like her She knows how to live and enjoys her money! I would bloody love to have the horses and the house that she does.
Re the percentage of money from the big night in going to the NHS, Luisa has been vocal in the past about paying privately for healthcare as she can afford it, and believes that if you have the money you should go private to take the strain off the nhs. Her husband has probably paid a fortune in taxes over the years. And I doubt Anna is that well off as she’s self employed and all her work has been cancelled for the foreseeable future.

The thing is, going private is lovely for small things but if you get unwell it’s absolutely useless. I have private healthcare but got seriously unwell last year and they told us to stay within the NHS (cancer) because the level of expertise & the networks of multi disciplinary experts are just unmatched. I’d go private to get an anomalous mole checked / removed, to talk about my periods or nutrition, or other relatively inconsequential bits but trust me when you’re genuinely unwell you need the NHS.

It really annoys me to see people perpetuate these myths around the NHS. I think Luisa should spend a lot more time reading and less time talking, she’s not actually that intelligent and struggles to present any well cited arguments. Just because she’s not a fucking amoeba like the Faiers sisters doesn’t mean she’s got anything of interest to say...

She is slowly slowly starting to really annoy me! And I don’t want to cause I really want to like her, I love her outbursts, her rants and non pc way of speaking......I even liked the fact she owns the fact she is minted.....however I do feel like now we are in the situation we are in she just needs to tone down the showing off ....her “runaround” car is newer than my main car ffs all jokes aside though showing off her pool, her huge closet, and everything else is just getting a little bit ott for me, and is leaving a bitter taste in my mouth

Long time lurker, first time commenting. I used to really like Luisa but she’s so far up her own arse now. Bragging about taking a private jet to Portugal when a lot of people are facing redundancy due to the covid crisis shows just how out of touch she is with the world. The comment on this weeks podcast about eating toilet paper really disturbed me...it’s obvious that she has an eating disorder from the tiny amount she eats, the hours of exercise she does and banging on about how fat she is.

I used to really like Anna too but I feel like she lets Luisa say whatever she pleases and meekly agrees in the background. I think Luisa is really jealous of Anna’s achievements with her career, both on screen and off screen, especially as Anna seems to be getting more tv work now. Just goes to show that having more social media followers isn’t as amazing as Luisa makes out!

Final point to add: the singing on the podcast makes me want to drill my own eardrums.

Obviously she must have had it - I don't get this weird obsession people have with wanting to have had it / are so certain they have had it.
I get that it's her money, she can do whatever she wants with it, but ugh. Plus had to insta the whole thing- so lame.

Surely the point is though that if you dont *have* to furlough then you shouldn't - is there not enough strain on our government's resources already?
